But, for how long..?

I kept a cup of tea before Dev while he was working on his laptop sitting on the couch.
"Your tea!" I said grumpily.

He is giving me silent treatment since morning because of yesterday's incident.
But I can't tell him the truth.

He just hummed not even looking up from his laptop.

"No good morning? No thank you?" I said narrowing my eyes.

"Not in the mood." He said still looking at his laptop screen.

"Fine!" I said huffing.
"Not in the mood!" I imitated him and left.

Asshole!

"Let him come with his sweet talks to me, I'll tell him!" I muttered angrily and started getting ready for office.

"Dev, I am taking your car. My car is at servicing and Lisa has the scooty. My car will be delivered in an hour or so, if you need you can use it." I said taking his car keys.

"Be careful." He said and I smiled.

Now in the mood, huh?

I turned around smiling and he said
"I was telling you to take care of my car. It is very special to me." He said.

I just narrowed my eyes at him.
"I know it is very special to you." I said angrily and started to leave.

"I don't even want a scratch on my mercedees." He yelled while I was leaving.

"Drive safe, you too." He said in a low voice and I left smiling.

He can never stop caring!

I was driving back home from office. My phone started ringing.

And the caller id put up a smile on my face.

Dev

"What is it?" I asked picking up his call.

"Why are you not home yet? It is past your office hours."
He asked and I smiled shaking my head.

This guy can never change!

"I'll be there in 10 mins. Why? Are you done with your silent treatment?" I asked chuckling.

"No, I was just asking and I am not done with my silent treatment." He said & hung up.

I laughed at him.

How cute he is..!

I kept my phone aside and suddenly a child came running on the road behind his ball.
My eyes widened in horror because he was too close to the car.

Quickly I turned the steering wheel to the right but I couldn't control the speed and the car hit right into a pole with my head banging on the steering wheel.

The impact was soo hard that I was too shocked to think about anything.
Wincing I looked upwards. I felt dizzy.

I touched my forhead where it did hurt and I could feel blood on my forhead.

Shit..!

I quickly tried to get out of the car and looked around for the child. The child stood there on the side of the road with a lady who was scolding him.
