There were some loud noises going around the floor and I was trying to focus on the designs.

What the hell are these guys doing?

Furious, I got out of my cabin to see what the whole chaos is actually about.
"What is going on over here— I started but Riya cut me off saying.

"Anu, you definitely need to see this. This is about your clients brother." She said pulling me towards the area where everyone stood talking before the TV.

I stood shell shocked as I watched the headline.
"Dev Khurrana, the successful lawyer has  stooped so low for money that he has actually accepted defending a rapist."
The news anchor said.

What the fuck?

They changed the channel and on that channel there was reporter who said
"We are currently waiting outside Khurrana's law firm for Mr. Dev Khurrana to come outside and actually tell us if he has accepted the case of a rape accused."

Ohh shit..!

Dev has never been good with the media people, he hates them.
Absolutely!

"There are few sources which say that he has accepted the case because the accused is his brother-in-law."
Another reporter said.

"Can a person stoop this low for money? Did he not feel an ounce of pain for the 21 year old girl who was been raped?" The reporter continued.

These Assholes..!

On another channel they showed how there were literally a bunch of reporters outside his mansion.

Hurriedly, I walked in my cabin and got my car keys.
"Riya, can you please tell Mrs. Shenoy that I left because I had a really urgent work." I said to her and she gave me a thumbs up.

Getting into the car, I started driving and then called Rhea.

I hope she is not home.

She picked her call on the first ring.
"Rhea, where are you?" I asked her.

"I am at Karan's place. Why is something wrong?" She asked confused.

"Stay at Karan's and don't go back to your mansion. Where is your mom?" I asked.

"She is not in town. She left for Brazil for a meeting a few hours ago. Ohh shit! What the fuck is happening near our house?" She said panicked.

"Rhea what's wrong?" I asked.

"There are a bunch of reporters near our house and also a lot of public. Some of them are stone pelting on the windows. I just turned on the news channel." She said.

That's not good!

"Don't worry. I'll take Dev with me. You make sure you're with Karan." I said and hung up.

I parked my car opposite to his office building.

I called Dev and he answered immediately.
"Dev, Are you okay?" I asked and there was no response from the other side.

"Dev! You're scaring me." I yelled at him.

"I am fine. Just don't know what to do." He said sighing.

"Get your security team and get out of the office right now. I am waiting with my car before your office." I said.

"What? Why are you here? You know right— he started yelling at me.
