Tony's POV:
My mind wakes up before my body does, as always. The amount of times I lay in bed the next morning whether that's on my own or with a random blonde just thinking and calculating every single one of my projects till it's perfect is ridiculous. However, recently I'm finding I'm usually waking up next to Kira.
God that girl did things to my brain. To me personally. She was just so beaut-
Wait a minute.
The last thing I recall is being knocked out by the son of a bitch who doesn't want to be killed. Kill Joy.
I sigh as I open my eyes. I wince as I struggle and look up to see I'm tied to a bed frame with zip ties. I don't want to be the one to say it but...that's kinky as hell.
"Ah...Okay." I groan out as I become aware of my surroundings. I look around the basement and see that woman from a few days ago.
What was her name again? M-Mia? No, Millie? No! M-Maya! That was it Maya.
"It's just like old times, huh?" Her patronising voice rang out.
I look around again and notice Kira is no where to be found. This makes me fight a little harder against my restraints but as they cut into my skin I realise it's no use.
I swear they do anything to her, I'm going full Iron Man on this whole place.
"Oh, yeah. With zip ties. It's a ball." I sarc back.
"It wasn't my idea." She replies."Okay. So you took Killian's card." I remind her of all those years ago.
"I took his money."
"And here you are 13 years later, in a dungeon.""No." She simply says.
I'm pretty sure this is a dungeon. No windows, no proper lighting, tied to a bed frame. Yeah a dungeon.
"Yeah." I argue.
"No, you're in a dungeon. I'm free to go." She smiles making anger build up within me but I play it cool knowing I needed information to where Kira is."Yeah?" I question.
"A lot has happened, Tony. But I'm close. Extremis is practically stabilised." She sighs as she walks towards me.
"I'm telling you it isn't. I'm on the street. People are going bang. They're painting the walls. Maya, you're kidding yourself." I shout at her, loosing my cool for a second.
I know she needs me and if I'm tied up and being treated like this when they need me, my kind can't help but wonder what they're doing to Kira.
"Then help me fix it." She asks as she shows me the "You Know Who I Am" note I assuming my left in 1999. Calculations were on the back.
"Did I do that?" I ask stupidly, toying with her.
"Yes." She sighs making me almost grin. Got her.
"I remember the night, not the morning. Is this what you've been chasing around?" I ask her.
"You don't remember?" She asks me and I can see her emotions building up within her."I can't help you. You used to have a moral psychology. You used to have ideals. You wanted to help people. Now look at you. I get to wake up every morning with someone who still has their soul. Get me out of here. Get me to Kira. Come on." I ask her but she just walks away.
"You know what my old man used to say to me? One of his favourite of many sayings... "The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.""
Urgh. Killian.
I look towards him as he walks in with a case in hand.
"You're not still pissed off about the Switzerland thing, are you?" I ask.
