Christina's POV
As soon as we walked inside the beautiful decorated house I went in search of my bestie. I held Ant's hand while Andrew followed me with Olivia. It didn't take long to find her in front of a banner taking pictures with other guest.
We waited for the them before it was our turn to take a picture. "Hey"she greeted cheerfully when she saw me approach.
"Hey" I responded hugging her. Then Ralphy before I turned my attention to the birthday boy. "Happy birthday handsome" I tickled him and he giggled causing myself to smile in return.
An hour later I watched the children run around and play, enjoying themselves.
I noticed this tall dark skin man looking at me. He looked fine as hell with his black T with gold chains dancing from his neck. When he noticed I had peeped him he sent me a smile before winking. His teeth were nice as it showed off his grill.
I looked away bringing my attention back to the children. When I glanced his way again he was gone. I tried to see if I could spot him but I couldn't. "Looking for me" a deep raspy voice spoke from behind me. I turned and it was the guy I had seen checking me out.
I blushed again from embarrassment turning to look back at the children "no" I said trying to act as if I didn't just get caught like a creep.
"Mmm, what's your name?" I looked at him from the side of my eye as he stood to my left. Did he not see this baby bump?
"I'm Christina and you are?"
"Ah, Christina I knew I've seen you before." That caused me to actually look at him and he was he finer up close. "I'm lance." He reached out his hand and I shook it looking at him skeptical.
"I saw you dance at one of Beyoncé's show. You're good" he said with a grin.
"Thank you" I smiled
"You seeing anyone right now?" He asked his forwardness caught me of guard. I looked at him with one raised eyebrow, what was he getting at. Noticing my face he chuckled slightly. "I'm sorry, I see that your pregnant you're just so beautiful. I had to at least say something since I can't seem to take my eyes off you." He said coolly
I smirked looking at the way his eyes ran over my body. Mama still got it. "That was quite the compliment, thank you." I said smiling "and I'm not seeing anyone" I added
Another two hours went by and the party was over. Andrew dropped off his siblings before taking me home. I was trying my best not to fall asleep in the car from how tired I was.
We finally made it to my house and Andy helped me out the car. "Don't forget we have a doctors appointment on Tuesday" I said before heading to my front door.
~
Andrew's POVIt was Tuesday and we had just gotten back from the doctors appointment. Everything was fine, the baby was healthy and I couldn't be happier. I could care less if it was a boy or a girl I just wanted to meet them already.
Today was another family day for us so while Ant and Christina picked a movie I went to the kitchen to grab snacks.
I couldn't focus on the movie as Christina sat at the other end of the couch texting throughout the whole movie. I would notice her smile and giggle as she looked at her phone. I tried to ignore it as I put my focus towards the TV.
We were on our second movie when Ant fell asleep. I got up and handed Christina the remote before I stalked to my room. I stripped out of my clothes taking a shower. I was trying not to be annoyed but I was. I could feel the distance between us and I didn't like it. I had to think of a way to show her I was all in that I was going anywhere.
I got out the shower dressing in shorts. I walked back downstairs to see both of them asleep on the couch. An idea popped into my mind and I began to make some calls.
3 hours had past and they were still cuddle up on the couch asleep. I sat on the couch watching the football game. I ordered food since we hadn't ate.
30 minutes later we were all in front of the tv eating the pizza and wings I had got. As always the smell of food woke them up. After we ate Ant went to his room to play with his toys. I cleaned up a little bit before I smiled walking over to Christina. "Hey, there's something I want to show you" she looked up from her phone then got up following me.
I went up the stairs and stopped at the third door to the right. I motioned for her to go first. She opened the door and I watched as she put a hand over her mouth. She looked back at me with teary eyes.
I had showed her the baby's room I had set up in my house. It had white walls with giant stickers of different animals the crib was wooden and detailed with vines giving it a jungle feel. There was a wooden rocking chair to match. Pillows and stuff animals added to the decor making the room look cozy.
"This is beautiful" I heard her say.
"I just wanted to show you that Im here for this baby...and you"
She turned to look at me "Andy"
"I know I've fucked up and I know you probably hate me. You have every reason to but I promise to make it up to you even if that means only being your friend."
