Inos pov
I was walking home from work in the rain. Thank goodness I brought an unbrella with me. These showers really came out of nowhere!
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a girl in rags hanging up a missing poster. What's she doing out in the rain like this?
"hey there" I placed the umbrella over her head. She looked up at me in surprise. She had dark blue hair and violet eyes. She's actually really pretty. If they poor girl wasn't wearing rags she'd be stunning.
"Umm thank you miss" she smiled sweetly at me.
"no problem hun" I smiled back at her. I looked over at the poster. It had a picture of a boy with her eyes. He must be a relative of hers.
"it that a relative of yours?" I asked.
"Yes" she nodded sadly "he's my cousin. He's been missing for almost a month now. Its all my fault"
"hey don't say that" I said gently patting her shoulder.
"but it is my fault!" she yelled slapping my hand away "I left him behind when he needed me the most. Its all my fault"
"you left him behind?" I questioned.
She gasped as if she said something she shouldn't have "I sorry I must be going. My boyfriend and little sister will be worried about me"
"ok I'll see you around"
She nodded and ran off into the rain. I looked at the missing poster with a sigh. You know shikamaru been real quiet about his lover. Could he be... No ino that's crazy talk! Shikamaru would never kidnap some random kid like that.
