Shikamarus pov
I was worried out of my mind when I came home to find neji not there. Where is he? He promised not to leave the house so where is he!
I heard a painful gasp coming from the park. I looked over to see two men. One was holding neji and the other was punching him!
"hey don't fall asleep on us sweetheart" the man grabbed neji by the hair and forced him to look up "you won't be much fun to beat if your limp and unconscious"
All I could see was red at that moment but for nejis sake I forced myself to keep my cool.
"neji!" I yelled.
Neji looked up in surprise "shikamaru?"
The men glared at me "hey get the hell out of here punk! This has nothing to do with you"
"no" I stepped forward "it has plenty to do with me"
"I told you to piss off-" he stopped when I activated my shadow possession jitsu on them. I made them let go of neji and grinned mensingly.
"now let's play a little game" I pulled out two kunai and placed them in each of my hands "first one to die loses"
"hey I can't move" one of them said with clear panic in their voice. Good. I want them to suffer for what they did to neji.
I threw my kunais and the men threw air since they didn't have anything in their hands. I hit them in their necks. I didn't want to kill them yet. I want them to suffer just a bit longer.
I took my kunais out of their throats and pointed it at their eyes "now boys let's see what you look like with your eyes gouged out-"
"stop it shikamaru!" neji hugged my waist with tears in his eyes "your not like this. Please don't become a monster for my sake!"
I felt immediate guilt. What am I doing? Torturing people in front of my nejis innocent eyes! Get a hold of yourself shikamaru! You can't be acting like an animal in front of him.
"I'm sorry darling" I petted his head gently "let's end this now" I stuck my kunais in both their heads, killing them.
I pulled him into a hug feeling better now that my happiness has been returned to me. Out of the corner of my eye I caught sight of something in the mans pocket.
It was a missing poster and it had nejis face on it.
