I was walking into school school when...
"nii-chan!" to my surprise hinata hugged me from behind.
"hinata" I looked her up and down to see she was wearing the same school uniform as me "have you joined kohona High?"
She nodded "naruto said it would be nice for me to go to school with you since I don't have any friends at my old school so he asked shikamaru which school you go to and got me transferred here"
"that's wonderful" I beamed at her. This will be a great chance for me to get closer with her.
Suddenly we heard the bell ring, signalling for us to go to class "hinata you'd be in class B seeing as you're a year younger than me. Would you like me to walk you there"
"yes please" she nodded. The two of us walked to the classroom, talking about anything that came to mind. Once we reached the classroom however hinata became noticeably more nervous.
"your going to be just fine hinata" I said reassuringly "and once lunch time comes around I'll introduce you to my friends"
"ok I'll look forward to that" hinata forced a smile and walked into the classroom.
I hope she'll be alright.
*Time skip*
"neji!" hinata ran to me with two boys by her side "neji I made friends!"
"wow that was fast" I smiled at her.
She nodded "this is kiba" she pointed to the boy with a large dog beside him "and this is shino" she pointed to the boy with shades on "guys this is my cousin neji"
"yo!" kiba grinned. Shino just waved. I guess he's the silent type.
"hinata would you like to meet my friends now? You can bring your friends along too"
"ok" hinata nodded.
"awesome" kiba giggled "shino we're going to be popular now!"
"I wouldn't consider this being popular" shino muttered.
"man your such a buzzkill" kiba pouted.
We finally arrived at the game room where me, tenten and Lee often hang out.
"hey neji. Who are all these people?" Lee asked.
"this is my cousin hinata and her friends kiba and shino" I introduced them.
"wow neji your cousins just as cute as you are" tenten giggled "and not to mention her friend is really attractive" she looked straight at shino making him blush.
"take a seat everyone" Lee grinned "I have always wanted a large group of friends"
"what are we not good enough for you?" tenten teased him.
"it is not that. I have always just liked the idea of-" he stopped dead in his tracks when garra walked in "my red headed angle is here!" he jumped off his seat and ran to him.
Me and tenten sighed. Lee's had the hots for the transfer student garra for quite a while now. We thought it would die down by now like his other love interests but his crush on garra only seemed to grow.
"oh hi Lee" garra said nervously. Garra was a quiet and softspoken boy so he didn't quite know how to deal with Lee's hyper energy.
"you have such beautiful blue eyes garra-kun. I could stare at them forever" Lee said getting very close to garras face.
"oh t-thank you Lee" garra said turning as red as his hair. Poor kid doesn't know how to deal with Lee at all!
"hey get the hell away from my kid brother creep!" garras older brother kankuro yelled as he hit him with one of his puppets.
"oww my beautiful face!" Lee whined
"wow so manly" kiba gushed. Wait so dose kiba have a crush on kankuro now? What's with everyone failing in love with the transfer students!
Hinata giggled as she leaned on me "I'm so glad I came to this school. Everyone's so nice here"
"yeah I'm glad too" I said wrapping my arm around her.
And that's how our strange friend group was formed!
