By the next day, we picked out God and the Archangels, Zack was looking back to normal again, and Sin started sprouting blood-red wings from his back. I woke up on Zack’s bare chest, smiling into his skin and kissing it wherever my lips touched.

“Morning,” he rubbed his eyes with one hand, the other trailing down the skin of my back. “Goddamn, I missed waking up with you.”

I nuzzled my face into his neck, kissing it gently over a light bruise. “I love you,” I trailed my fingers over his picturesque abs with a soft smile. “You know what? Screw tradition. Can we have Sin marry us? I want to get married right this damned second, Zack Wells.”

“It’s hard to say no when you use my kinks against me,” he sighed. “We’ll see, my love. You might be busy with Savior shit.”

I nodded with a huge grin. “I gotta talk to Heaven as a whole today. Make my living known. And, not to mention, stop them from preparing for war just in case they didn’t get the memo.”

“Can’t we just stay in bed?” Zack kissed my forehead. “I haven’t held you like this in over a year, T, and I’m just loving it too damned much.”

“I know,” I said softly. “But they’re gonna yell at me if I stay in bed with you all day. I’m sorry, baby,” I curled up into him.

“Not your fault,” he smiled. “Don’t be sorry, sweetheart.”

I sighed loudly. “I don’t want to leave.”

“I know, my darling, I know,” Zack’s hands trailed over my hips as he kissed over my cheek to my lips. “I love you,” he smiled. “I can’t wait until we can go home.”

“Anywhere with you is home,” I ran my fingers over his smooth cheeks. “When did you shave?”

“Last night,” he shrugged. “After you fell asleep.”

I ghosted my fingers along his jaw, watching him bite his lip. My eyes found his again, and I blushed when I saw he was smirking at me. I gulped, looking back to his lips and running my fingers over his mouth. “Kiss me.”

Zack’s lips spread in a grin as he pulled me closer to him. My heart raced and beat in my ears when he leaned in as if it was the first time he kissed me all over again. But this time he was slow and gentle from the start. He pushed my hair back, leaving his hand on my jaw and deepening our kiss. Zack pulled me onto his chest, and I held onto his chest to keep myself balanced.

I let my hands venture upward toward his shoulders, and ran my thumbs over the skin of his neck. Zack kissed down my neck, breathing heavily against my collarbone for a moment before picking up where he left off.

Cold water devoured my back, making me bite down on Zack’s ear and shriek. Zack didn’t get as soaked as I did, and I rolled off of him, pulling the covers over my shoulders as I shivered. A smirking Taylor stood at the foot of the bed with a now-empty pitcher.

“You needed a cold shower so we could get to work,” he shrugged. I blushed madly and Zack rubbed his face. He leaned over, pressing one last deep kiss into my mouth before turning to his brother.

“We’re not wearing clothes. Get out so we can get dressed,” Zack glowered at the demon. Taylor set the pitcher down in the kitchen and left the room. Zack didn’t waste any time climbing on top of me, kissing down my neck hungrily. “I love you, baby.”

“I love you more,” I grinned.

“I love you most,” he pecked my lips a few times before climbing out of bed.  “I like when you tell me to kiss you.”
