Cha.11 field trip

Holy shit I did not expect 400+ reads thank you so much! Planned on releasing a chapter yesterday, But I got too caught up in reading 'killing stalking' all night so here you go🧍‍♀️

It has been over a week since the movie night. Three weeks since I took my first step here in florida. It was monday, the week after I had detention with Nick and Karl.

Nothing much has happened exept that and detention wasn't that bad, just boring and I had to sit there for an hour everyday, hearing them makeout at the back in the corner of the classroom.

I was too distracted in finishing all my homework in detention, so it wasn't that much of a deal.

Me and Clay on the other hand had gotten a better relationship with eachother.

And for example we could have an actual conversation without getting into a fight. Although the conversations didn't last long everytime before his hoes would come up, push me away and be all over him.

I'm not even kidding, they will come up in the middle of our conversation and be like "ah dream you're so hot! I'm not like other girls, be my boyfriend"

Needy hoes much?

I just got annoyed by it everytime and walked away. Suprisingly, Clay did chase after me everytime I would walk away to ignore them.

We also had the presentation last week and it went better than I thought actually. We got a B+ on it and with Clays straight F's in most subject, I thought I would go worse.

And here I was now, outside the school and about to enter a bus with the class for a field trip. There were about 3 busses outside on the parking lot because the whole junior grade were going.

The field trip would be for 1 week and I was lucky, I had gotten my parents approvement to go.

I entered the buss last and I got on the last empty seat beside Clay. "Where Are the others, I couldn't see them on the bus?" I asked. (By others I meant Karl, Nick and Niki).

"They're on the other bus behind us" he said.

I nodded and leaned back on the seat, getting comfortable as I knew this would be a 6 hour ride.

Almost everyone that were on our bus, was the annoying students, aka the other popular kids and trouble makers and I was just lucky that they haven't been bugging me anything yet.

After an hour I felt Clay's head, fallen asleep on my shoulder and we stop somewhere in 3 hours to get our lunchbreak, so I would just wake him up then instead.

I let him rest on my shoulder and eventually fell asleep myself, leaning my head back onto his.

It felt a little akward sleeping here against Clay, one of the most popular guys at the school and with a bounch of people around me in the seats.

I didn't plan to sleep that long until I got woken up by the teacher speaking and the bus parked outside a lunch place.

"We only have two hours left to drive from here, so everyone grab lunch and there is a public bathroom inside, to the right if anyone needs" the teacher said, before everyone started exiting the buss and heading inside the small building.

I looked beside me and saw Clay still asleep against me. "Hey, wake up" I said as I shook his shoulder lightly.

"Hmm, what is it" he hummed and said in a tired voice and started opening his eyes.

Everyone else had left the bus, including the teacher and busdriver for a break. "We have a 20 minutes break, let's go eat before we have to start driving again" I said and dragged him out of the bus.

We were in a large cafeteria, grabbing our food trays and started to look where the others had sat down.

I saw Niki wave at us and we walked over there, sitting down next to them. "So what have you guys been up to" Niki said after we sat down.

"Just sleeping but my legs have been asleep for hours and it hurts standing up" I yawned.

We only had 15 minutes left to eat and finished our trays quickly. "Alright, everyone head to your bus now and when we arrive, we'll separate you in fours for each cabin.

"We'll see you later then" Karl said as we all seperated to our busses.

Me and Clay entered the bus and headed to our seat. "My turn to sit by the window" I said and hurried before him to get to the seat first.

"Fine" Clay said chuckling as he sat down next to me.

Rest of the ride went quickly and just as I knew, I saw a big sign for the place we were going to.

All the busses parked on a small parking lot and we started heading out. "Everyone get in a group here infront of me and I will say the pairs on the list, who you'll be sharing with.

We got paired up and grabbed out bags from the bagage of the bus.

Me Nick, Karl and Clay shared a cabin and Niki ended up with some other girl group. The teacher handed out everyones cabin house number and as soon as we got ours, we headed of to look for it.

"What's our number" I said to Karl, who was holding the paper with the lunch times and activity schedual.

"13, it should be this one" he said as we stopped outside a small cabin that had the numberplate 13 on it.

We opened the door with the key that we got from the teacher and inside was two bunkbeds on each side of the small room. Between the beds was two nightstands.

I turned on the switch as we got inside. Nick and Karl agreed quickly on who got the top bed, but obviously me and Clay had to fight for it and guess who won. Me of course.

"HAHA suck it green boy" I said as I got up on the top bed and sticked my tounge out at him.

"Keep that tounge in or were gonna have issues" he said smirking at me.

"Yeah sure" I said laughing at him and got down, noticing that Karl and Nick were gone.

"When did they even leave" I added as I got down from the bed and looked at him in confousion.

"They left like 10 minutes ago when you we were busy fighting about the top bed. They went to the campfire some students prepared apparently" I said.

"Then what are we waiting for I wanna go too" I said as I grabbed his hand and dragged him behind.

It was pretty dark outside now, which wasn't suprising since it was almost the end of september and 10:37 pm.

I couldn't see much outside due to the dark and there was mostly woods around the cabins so we would have to explore tomorow.

But I did see light coming from the end of a path that didn't lead too deap into the forest.

"I hate the dark, it's scary" I said as I started walking slower and gripped a little more tightly onto Clays hand when we got inside the woods, following the path.
