Cha.17 night sky

Hello people I am home again (I am alive) so back to normal uploadning schedule. This is my first book so I'm sorry if anything's confusing through the whole book and a lot of misspellings😬

Also apart from that; Wth, where did the 7k+ reads come from?? THANK YOU!!

I was half asleep writing this chapter (it's shit) but I haven't updated in many days so here you go🧍‍♀️

I woke up to an empty bed, with wonder from where Clay had disapeared. I sat up in the bed, rubbing my eyes and looking around before a message popped up on my phone.

From Clay
My mom texted me last night that I had to get home and she was kinda mad, But look outside the window:)

I peaked down from the window at the yard, spotting Clay there. He waved his hand at me before I quickly changed into some other clothes and opened the window to climb down.

"Aw waiting for me?" I teased as he helped me down. And an eyeroll with a smirk is what I got for an answer.

"Wanna walk or take the car?" He asked as we walked out to the sidewalk.

I looked up to the sky, before turning back at him. "The weather is pretty nice, a walk wouldn't hurt since we have like 45 minutes until class"

"Alright" he said as we started walking by the peaceful walk. The traffic was not bad at all during this time in the morning so it would usually be quiet when walking to school. 

I don't remember when but some time during this silent walk, we ended up intertwining our hands.

"What if Alex is there today.. I don't think he's happy with us after you made him unconsious and we just left him there behind the building" I said, finally breaking the silence.

He turned to me as I still looked down on the ground. "Don't worry I wont let him touch you" he said with calming words.

We reached the entrance of the building and got inside. I still did get looks from people but atleast this time they weren't yelling slurs and stuff at me.

One more thing that drew them more attention was that Clay was next to me this time as we walked down the hallway.

People thought that it was over between me and Clay and now we're both here, still intertwining hands.

I got a lot of dirty looks from a group of girls, aka Clays whores.

Gosh at this point I was probably one of the most hated people in this school, considering how many people that were spreading rumors about me, just for kissing Clay.

Luckily through this whole day, I did not see Alex once. Nor Nick and Karl.. Which got me thinking. I should probably ask Clay tomorrow if he has any clue about them.

When we got home I let Clay stay over for the night since he apparently didn't last time. And no, nothing intense happened this time. Just playing minecraft and sleeping.

I wake up to a soft snoring under me. I could feel his chest move from every breath he took.

I tried getting out of his grasp but it held me too tight, protectivly. I succesfully snatched my phone from the nightstand to check the time.

07:15 am. Wait.. shit! I forgot about school.

"Clayyy.. we have school!" I nagged, trying to wake him up. An annoyed groan was the only response I got.
