𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗼𝘆||𝗗𝗻𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗨 ✔️

Cha.2 first day in florida

If there are any misspellings or grammar wrong, I don't mind anyone pointing it out and I will obviously correct it as quick as I can:).

It was saturday 10am. It took me awhile to wake up fully, still being half asleep. I sat up on the bed and rubbed my eyes to make the sight less blurry.

I heard noises down stairs, so I guessed everyone was already awake and unpacking stuff.

I noticed that I was too tired yesterday to even bother changing in to some comfortable clothes, and instead heading straight to bed.

I got out of bed, stretching my back and trying to find my suitcase somewhere in the room with all my clothes. Lucky me, I found it quickly and changed into comfortable shorts and a hoodie since I wasn't planning on going out today.

2 days left for school. I thought as I looked at the date on my phone.

I didn't have anything else planned the last two days and decided to just start unpacking everything to get it done quicker.

Sunday 10 pm.

The last two days I had just been unpacking boxes for hours straight and I was finally finished with everything.

We haven't had anytime to greet our new neighbors yet, but my mom told me she saw a boy my age in the house next to us and hasn't stopped nagging since then that I should be friends with them.

It was september, the begining of autumn/fall but for some reason it was still pretty hot outside.
(I say fall but I put both if anyone sees this, gets confused)

School had already started one week ago but since I moved schools and the plane was delayed for a few days, I would be a little behind in class. But I didn't bother to care too much about it tho.

I was tired from all the unpacking, got to bed earlier than usual and fell asleep after scrolling through twitter for a while.

I heard my alarm going off for the third time now and then I remembered. I looked at my phone and read 06:45 am. School started at 8 am and I had to be ready to leave by 07:40.

Lucky I only lived 15 minutes away from school by walking. I walked to my closet and decided pick out something casual. I found a blue hoodie with jeans that were a litte more loose on the end.

I went downstairs to only find Alyssa in the kitchen, since I guessed my parents were still asleep.

"I have work now in the morning, so I thought that I could drop you off at school before" she said when I entered the kitchen.

"Oh okay, thank you" I said, stuffing my sandwich in my mouth and finishing it quickly.

I went to the bathroom to fix my brown puffy hair and brush my teeth. It looked too messy from sleeping and I had hair all over in my face that annoyed me.

"Okay i'm ready now i'm just gonna grab my bag. One sec!" I said to her as she waited downstairs at the frontdoor.

I ran upstairs, grabbed my bag and hurried out with Alyssa to her car. We started driving towards the school, which only took us 5 minutes since I was lucky to get a ride there and save some time.
