Cha.16 miserable date

Sorry for the bad update since i'm on vacation but hopefully i'll get this chap finished today😴

I've also had a writers block which made me a little stressed.(I knew what to write but I didn't know how to write it so I changed this chapter a bit)

I had been crying for an hour in the bathroom stall, before I started to calm down and just starring spaced out on the blanc wall.

I stood up and walked out, my whole body shaking a little from panic.

I ran through the hallway to get to the exit and people were laughing and whispering to eachother.

I tried ignoring it and when I got outside I didn't run home, instead I ran towards the park to get away from everyone.

The park was empty since most people in this period where in school or at work.

I sat down by the cherry blossom tree. The dried tears on my tears stinged a little and I could hardly see clear because of the slightly teary eyes.

Time just passed as I starred at the park and people walking by. Some kids just playing and some couples.

Eventually I fell asleep, leaning against the tree.

9 pm

I woke up in shock from a loud sound. A thunderstorm perhaps? And oh gosh I was right.

It was pouring down rain and I was almost drenched. I pucken up my phone from my backpocket.

6 missed calls from mom
9 missed calls from dad

I had fallen asleep by accident and I can already bet that my parents are hella worried.

I got up and ran through the rain. I was about 10 minutes from home and reached the house quickly, panting non stop from the running.

I stood outside the frontdoor and tolk a deep breath before I stepped inside.

Suprisingly, none stood there waiting when I got inside. It was dead silent in the house.

I thought that maybe I was lucky for getting away with how long I was out without telling my parents.

But no. I was damn wrong.

"George!"

Just as I started sneaking up the stairs, I heard someone yell my name from behind.

I slowly turned around, seeing my mother standing there with her arms crossed.

"Where have you been, my and your father has been dead worried!" she said after I stood there silent, without an answer to give.

"I was uh- studying at Nikis place" I lied to not get into more trouble then I already were.

"You're grounded for 2 week"

"What, why? I'll do anything mom please!" I tried convincing her, knowing 5at my day was already bad enough.

I had second thoughts after those words slipped out of my mouth, since I already knew that I would regret this but it couldn't get worse than this so what the fuck do I hesitate about.

She sighed. "Fine. Your sister have space for one more bridesmaid to the wedding and I think you already know where i'm going with this"

Clay's going to be there and I had totally forgotten about this whole wedding thing since it was pushed back by two weeks. I just had to avoid him the whole time.
