Chameleon. It is an animal with astonishing eyesight. It can move both of its eyes independently. Truly, a magnificent animal that excels in observation. It is only natural that the organization with this reptile's name exceeds in such aspects. Chameleon is an underground criminal organization that has mastered espionage, extortion, cyber-terrorism, and much more. Many other underground syndicates and even some governments use the power of the extensive information network and other... benefits, of Chameleon. Understandably so, Chameleon has grown into a global operation, amassing tons of power and influence throughout the world, especially in the east.

As expected from such a superpower of an association, their Japanese headquarters in Kawagoe has top-of-the-line security from both magicians and technology. However, currently, this headquarters was enveloped in utter chaos. Alarms were blaring, signaling intruders, guards that were supposed to be highly skilled magicians started falling down left and right. A single figure, wrapped in a cloak darker than the abyss itself, walked leisurely through the boobytrap-filled rooms and hallways of Chameleon.

Mechanical turrets, a revolutionary invention that used laser precision targeting, allowing almost 100% accuracy in every single shot... were holed through just as easily as the corpses littering the ground before them. Tiny balls of light, almost like millions of stars in the night sky, shined brightly throughout the building. It was unbelievable. A single person. One human, one magician, one... monster, was invading one of the most secure locations in the entirety of Japan.

This unstoppable force continued true, towards the center of the facility. It didn't matter whether it was man, machine, or anything else, this magician mowed down everything in their path.

Finally, this intruder reached the last line of defense. The cloaked figure stepped into a large white room that seemed almost empty. The room was separated in two by a massive, magical barrier. This barrier was so inconceivably strong that it could withstand virtually any man-made object, whether explosive or magical. Doors opened on the other side of the room, and dozens of guards ran behind the barrier. This barrier had one more extremely convenient use. Objects behind it could surprisingly pass through the barrier as if it was just air. Now, obviously, this could be a major weakness, but when placed in a choke like this, where the intruder could not get around the barrier, it was an unmovable object.

Turrets popped out from the ground and ceiling, targetting the only thing on the opposite side of the room. The guards, all first-rate magicians, started up magic sequences that were all lethal. Behind this impenetrable barrier, they were all confident. However... That changed when the cloaked magician spoke for the first time.

???: "Fufufu, will you ever learn?"

The cloak dropped to the ground, and all the guards' faces went white as a bag of flour. Standing before them, was the matriarch of the Yotsuba Clan, Maya Yotsuba. This woman was widely renowned as one of, if not the most powerful magician on the entire planet. For her to come to this facility, alone, meant that something their org did has greatly displeased her. The guards all felt a little bad for their boss. At least they knew that they were going to have quick and painless deaths.

Maya: "Well then, shall we get started?"

Before the guards or even the turrets could react, thousands of rays of light shot through the barrier, shattering it as if it were fragile glass. The small smile never left the peerless beauty's face, as her Meteor Stream shredded everything in the room. Once confirming there was nothing moving anymore, she stepped through the room, into the one hallway that led to where she wanted.

Eventually, she got to the door at the end of the long hallway. After preceding to forcibly open it, she walked into a room that appeared to be an office. Sitting behind a desk was a man in a gray suit, sweating bullets. His name was Sudo Yamamoto, leader of the Japanese Chameleon.
