Ryuga was in the school's library, gazing at the walls of books before him. Everywhere he looked, various colors and various books were sprawled out around him. He walked over to the horror section, which was rather small compared to the other sections. Not giving it much thought, he picked a random book off the top shelf. It was named The Howling Wind. (Not a real book.)

Having picked his book, he sat down at one of the many tables used for reading and studying. There were not many people in the room besides Ryuga. If he had to guess, it would be around six or seven. All of them were bookworms, reading in solitude; although, that's exactly what Ryuga was doing.

He sifted through the Table of Contents, figuring he should at least look at how many chapters it had. Once he found out the book had twenty-one chapters, he began in chapter one. The story was set around a girl who lived in an old lighthouse with her family. Of course, she didn't live IN the lighthouse, she lived in the house right next to it. This girl, every night, would have trouble sleeping. The reason for this was because the of the eery wind that would chime throughout the seafront lighthouse. It echoed and howled throughout the hollow tower. However, one night, the hollowing was so loud she decided to look out the window. In the middle of the light, she could see a figure. Scared, she closed the window blinds and covered herself in her bed. The next morning, the family went up to the lighthouse as usual; however, the little girl strongly denied going. The parents forced her to go, however, since it was part of her future duty. Reluctantly, she climbed the stairs until she got to the top. Once she was at the top, she had forgotten why she was so terrified. The beautiful scenery of the sea subdued her fear, and she walked out onto the railing. She leaned her arms on the railing and gazed towards the sea. The girl stuck her arm out, as if trying to grasp the horizon, but she felt a little drop of water hit her palm. She drew her hand back to look at it, however, it wasn't water at all. The liquid was red in color and looked heavy and thick. She looked up to find a pale hand with the same red liquid running down it. She backed up to be able to see more and found a poor sailor's dead body impaled to the top of the tower. She was terrified and stepped back even further until she lost her balance. She hit the railing, and her torso went over it. The girl started to free fall towards the rocks below. At last, when she thought she would die, she opened her eyes to find hers-

???: "Attention, all students! We are a volunteer coalition seeking to abolish discrimination within the school! We demand an opportunity to negotiate on equal terms with the Student Council and the Extracurricular Activities Federation!"

This demanding voice suffused throughout the entire school. The sound came from the speakers, which means that the "volunteer coalition" had taken over the sound room. Sighing and closing his book, Ryuga stood up from his seat. He looked out the window to find that it was already sunset.

Ryuga: "Perhaps I got lost in the book, but still, it's about time they make a move. I was getting impatient."

He started to walk towards the sound room. Once he got there, a crowd was gathering around it, and he walked over to the disciplinary group. As he walked up to them, he was scolded by Mari.

Mari: "You're late."

Tatsuya: "Sorry."

Ryuga: "Hm?"

Ryuga looked behind him to find Tatsuya and Miyuki walking up to them. He sighed, knowing that he got ignored again, and stood out of the way for the popular ones to walk through. Miyuki, however, gave him a smile, to which he thought the price of being ignored was worth it. Tatsuya walked up to Mari and asked about all of it.

Tatsuya: "What's the situation?" Ryuga also listened in.

Mari: "They've cut off the power, so they won't be doing any more broadcasting. However, they've locked the door and barricaded themselves within."
