Chapter 15: A Tiger's Tail

Ryuga: "And so? You want me to protect her?"

Tatsuya: "That's right."

Ryuga and Tatsuya were currently in an argument about protecting Chiaki Hirawaka from possible assailants. Tatsuya figured that they would come to silence her pretty soon, and he needed to get information from her. 

Ryuga: "Ah! Whatever, fine! I get it. You better treat me to something nice after this."

Tatsuya: "Yeah, thanks."

With that, he left towards the hospital that Chiaki was staying at. Once he was close enough, he made himself invisible and walked into the lobby. He perched himself on a platform that allowed him sight to Chiaki's room and rested his feet. 

-Timeskip-

A few hours later, he saw a large man walk into the building, wearing a hoodie. He was slightly suspicious of him, but that suspicion grew once he started making his way to Chiaki's room. He was about to make a move, but he then realized that both Mari and her boyfriend were on the lower floor. As he was getting changed into his other outfit, the alarm rang out for the fourth floor. The suspicious man broke the door handle off of Chiaki's room, and Ryuga, finally, was done changing. He went visible and jumped off the platform.

As the man-eating tiger ripped off the door handle, Naotsugu Chiba arrived on the scene. They started to confront each other, and Lu Gonghu managed to corner the Chiba boy. They both dealt a pretty good blow to each other, and Mari arrived behind Lu Gonghu. The man-eating rushed towards her.

Naotsugu: "Mari!"

Just as she was about to get struck with a palm strike, a man wearing all black, including a mask, grabbed Lu's wrist. A wave of air blew from the sudden stoppage of the strike, and all three present were astonished.

Mari: "W-Who?"

Ryuga: "To think you'd actually come. His guess was right, huh?"

Lu managed to get free of Ryuga's grip, and he attempted to kick him in the stomach. Ryuga dodged effortlessly and slapped the man-eating tiger so hard that he fell from the fourth floor, all the way to the first floor. The tiger stumbled a bit, but once he gained his ground, he ran out of the building.

Ryuga rotated his wrist and called out to him.

Ryuga: "Run while you still can, little tiger."

Naotsugu: "Y-You're the Unknown God, aren't you?"

Ryuga: "Hm?" Ryuga looked to his right, to see Naotsugu. "Why are you here?"

Mari: "He was helping me with First High business, but the real question is, why are you here?"

Ryuga: "A friend asked me to keep watch over this place. Looks like my job here is done."

Mari: "May I ask who this friend is?"

Ryuga: "Be careful next time. You almost died. See you."

Mari: "Wai-"

Ryuga, disguised, jumped off the fourth floor and walked out of the building. Whilst he walked away, Mari and Naotsugu were surprised to have just met the Unknown God.

Mari: "So that's him?"

Naotsugu: "Incredible... I never thought I'd see him, much less in combat."

Mari: "He completely overpowered that Lu Gonghu guy."

Naotsugu: "Yeah, he's terrifying."

Mari: "I wonder who he is."
