Next day After last night’s star gazing I slept a little late but had a peaceful night’s sleep my mind filled with the excitement of tomorrow and the happiness of the evening that just went by.
I woke up on time and quickly got ready for my big day. My interview was scheduled for 9 am in the morning by 8am I was dressed in striped shorts and white blouse and seated at the breakfast table with my brother.

Between mouthfuls of food I told him about my plans for the day. “I am proud of you decision, take my credit card too it might be needed if you want to buy some stuff later”.
“You are the best big bro ever, love you so much”. I hugged him and excitedly went outside. Alex, my brother’s driver of ten years would drive me and Emilia to the rehab. Emilia will wait till the interview is done and then we will go shopping.
I waited in the waiting area for some time. Sharp at 9am the assistant ushered me into Dr.Lahm’s room. It was a simple room with not many decorative items; the walls facing me had all the accolades and certificates received by the doctor over the years.
On the windowsill there were a bunch of creeper plants and the place had a few varieties of bonsai trees and plants. On seeing me interested in the plants he asked “ seems like you are a plant person, right?”
“Yes. They make the surrounding a little peaceful and suck stress out of you, perfect companions for reading along with a cup of coffee.” I said.
“Totally agree. Please take a seat and we can start with the interview, you don’t seem nervous at all that’s a good sign” he said
I didn’t say anything but gave him a smile, waiting for his questions. “I read your resume; I have to say it’s amazing for a young person, all the things you have accomplished. I am impressed by your technical skills, but you are not confined to only that, you also explore yourself in other arenas of life like debates, arts, sports and you are only sixteen years old that’s commendable.”
“Thank you sir” I said politely trying hard not to blush, after so many compliments. I am not very good at handling compliments, they make me freeze and zone out, but I cannot afford that today!
