It was a Saturday so I woke up around eight and took a shower. I wore blue jeans, black spaghetti top and tied my hair in a ponytail.
I walked downstairs for breakfast and after that I asked my mom for her credit card to buy a gown for the homecoming ball. My mother gives me her credit card and before I leave my mother asks me that when will I be back from the shopping with Aurora.
I tell her that we will be eating lunch together and our shopping will be done by late afternoon.
I knocked on the door and the maid ushered me towards the living area where I saw Aurora finishing up her breakfast on the table. I waited for her on the couch and once she was done she asked me to hurry up because Luca was already waiting for us at the mall and we must not keep him waiting for too long.
"Why did he come so early?" I asked her she didn't have an answer for that. She had asked him to come by 10am and he was waiting there since 9am, anyways it was not an issue because the mall was not very far away from our houses.
Both of us got in the car and we drove to the mall. On reaching there we saw Luca waiting on a bench and greeted him.
"Giovanni wont be coming with us?" Luca asked Aurora and she replied that Giovanni said that he had some important work so he will be busy, she also added that Giovanni had a collection of cool tuxedos so he didn't really need to shop for another one.
Luca nodded his head and the three of us went inside the mall. Aurora suggested that we must buy our stuff first because we are the picky ones and will take the entire day and also we have so many accessories to buy. it will hardly take anytime to find a nice tuxedo and the minimal accessories men require.
Luca suggests that he would wait in the crossword browsing through books and when we were done with our shopping , we must give him a call and he will reach the store and from there we can continue to the men's section to shop for him.
Aurora and I started our shopping spree and visited different stores looking at the eclectic collection of ball gowns and trying to find the one for us.
We had looked at almost all stored but Aurora was not able to find a gown that felt perfect and same was the case with me. We were just floating around aimlessly by this point of time and we drifted into a Chanel outlet and looked around although gowns were pretty they were too bold for our liking.
"These gowns are so pretty but we cannot wear them to school" I whispered in Aurora's ears. As we were talking a salesgirl appeared out of nowhere and asked us what we wanted. Aurora said that we wanted gowns that are not too bold and pretty enough for the homecoming ball at our school.
The salesgirl nodded her head and ushered us towards the newest collection and we hoped maybe we will find "the one" here.
As we were browsing through the many options Aurora's eyes fell on beautiful strapless pink gown with a sweet heart neckline. She asked me for my opinion and I assured her that this gown was really pretty and since pink was her favourite colour she should go and try it out, we will take things from there onwards.
