Life is not a race to be won but a journey to be savoured. Every moment shows us something new. Life is not a race to be won,
rather a experience to be lived,
Life is can never be encompassed in,
30 second videos or filtered images.
Life is a song,
that your soul wants to sing,
Life is like the lore from afar,
enigmatic and magical.
Life is also not about being self-centred,
rather ask a fellow journey-man "how you doing?",
as you walk your seperate ways.
Life is bigger than any of us,
it can never be assimilated in experiences and words,
it can never be observed or relived,
only experienced by living it yourself.

I was angry, life was pissing me off lately dealing me with weird situations and giving me a glimmer of hope before pushing me onto a bed of thorns, I also knew that life always manages to put a few memorable events that balance out all the sadness, so its better to enjoy the ups and downs as well instead of always searching for happiness.

If life wasn't weird, I wouldn't be sitting here inside a café waiting for that asshole to arrive. You guys must be familiar with the concept of parallel universes where multiple versions of you exist simultaneously in different scenarios or same scenarios giving different inputs.

I was wondering about a self of mine in some far away universe who wouldn't even consider coming to the café and giving that asshole another chance, I wish I could be that version in this universe as well!

Loving Leonardo was confusing, complicated and hurtful and him calling me directly from school had me confused, I didn't know what to expect. Instead of speculating I calmed my mind and waited for the outcome to reveal itself.

I waited patiently for his arrival. After sometime I see him walk through the door dressed in a brown leather jacket and wearing a sunglasses to counter the afternoon sun.

As I looked in his direction I looked at the surroundings of the café. The place was near the beach and a cool breeze was blowing we were surrounded by tall palm trees and the ocean. I hated the fact that I had to meet that asshole here, otherwise I would have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

He took the seat in front of me and gave me a broad smile.
I glared at him and asked "why did you call me here all of a sudden?" before he could answer my question the waitress arrived and asked for our orders, he suggested we order our food first and then we can talk.

I ordered Strawberry milkshake and he ordered a cup of coffee. The waitress notes down our order and walks away giving us some privacy, but that moment was short-lived.
An attractive girl in her early twenties wearing a short purple clubbing dress walked towards us and hugged Leonardo.

"Hi baby, last night was amazing, I am looking forward to many more such nights in the future" she tells Leonardo.
On hearing this I got really angry and glared at him but waited for the girl to depart before saying anything I didn't want to create a scene in public.
