The festive period is over and its back-to-school time. I needed to buckle up and deliver a stirring and motivating speech for my campaign.
Before that I needed to revise and give final touches to other aspects of the campaign, most of the job was done but still I was nervous and didn't want to leave any stone unturned in this new venture.
The festive season flew away so fast, it seems like only yesterday that I was celebrating Christmas with my loved ones now I was going to campaign saying my nerves were frayed would be an understatement.
Yesterday Giovanni and Emilia were a big help as they helped me setup posters for my campaign all over the school and I was really happy with the way the posters turned out.
Today all the participants will campaign and give their respective speeches to the students and post that the students will be given 30 minutes to decide their favoured candidate and cast their votes by writing the name of the candidate in a piece of a paper and putting it in the ballot box, the teachers will count the votes for all participating candidates and announce the president based on who got the maximum number of votes.
I woke up extra early in the morning to revise my speech. I don't care if I win or lose my main focus is on giving my best so that I don't have any regrets later on.
I couldn't sleep well last night, the stress and anticipation for tomorrow's event made it difficult for me. My head was full of different scenarios and I had so many in which I was failing miserably hence I spent most my time tossing and turning around on the bed.
After my revision I took a quick bath and got ready for school. I wore a black colour trouser along with full sleeves polka dot top and tied my hair in a ponytail.

I had to look the part so my formal attire was tucked in and I looked really presentable like the female politicians I have seen on tv.
I went downstairs for breakfast with my brother he advices me not to worry too much and give my best, as I was preoccupied with my performance another thought entered my head, I had not informed my brother about my relationship with Giovanni, I will tell him everything as soon as I am done with the campaign today.
