Chapter 23

"I'm scared."

"Don't be."

"What if I have another attack?"

"I'll be there."

"Eric!"

"Stormy, you don't have to do this if you don't want to."

"But I want to."

Eric sighed and looked into my now official dark blue eyes. "Stormy, you have to be brave for this. What do you think Lily would say if she saw you in this state?" He asked.

Dammit. He was right. "Once a nose, always a nose." I said shaking my head. He smirked and playfully rolled his eyes. We stood in front of the hospital. I have no idea why I was nervous. I took a deep breath and nodded at Eric. Finally I stepped in the hospital.

ERIC'S POV

"Stormy, you don't have to do this if you don't want to." I told her.

"But I want to." She said. I almost laughed. That stubborn little SH¡t. I finally talked some sense into her and she finally went in. I could see why she would be upset about Lily. When I first came here she helped me a lot. She still thought I was an @$$hole for doing those things to Stormy, but she helped me out.

**Flashback** (Still ERIC'S POV)

Melissa grabbed my face and kissed me. I was a hocked at first but I eventually kissed back.

"You worthless słūt! You think you have a chance against Melissa?" I heard Alex's voice shout. I pulled away and looked towards Alex.

There she was. So innocent. Tears slightly brined in the corner of her eyes. Knowing Stormy, she wouldn't let it show. I fake laughed with the rest of Alex's posy. Stormy looked at me with hatred, shock, and sadness. She ran away leaving us.

"We're over." I told Melissa and walked away. I looked around for Stormy but I couldn't find her. Finally, I spotted her near the chasm. Just as I was about to call her a hand grabbed me and pulled me off to the side.

"What. The. Fudge?!?" The person said. I recognized her as one of the leaders and my instructor for me becoming a leader.

"I-I-i-" I started stuttering. Her tone of voice softened but her eyes held hatred.

"Eric. I know your mother and father from Erudite. I know how you were brought up. I know that you want to change. But do you really want to do that to someone you love?" She asked. I was shocked. How did she know? I though she was from Amity?

Lily chuckled at my expression.
"Your father is first command of bitch Mathews and your mother is an important lab person whatever. It's not hard to predict how a father like that would treat their child while a mother like your would hardly be around." She told me. I nodded not wanting to go into further detail.

"I know reputation is a big thing here at Dauntless but what your doing is pathetic" she spat, "I see the way you look at Stormy. I see the way she looks at you. Her and I are close. Do you really think I don't know why she had her first kiss with?" She asked smirking at the end.

After a while she started taking some sense into me.

*EndOfFlashback**

I felt disgusted at the way I treated Stormy. I also got jealous when she became close the almighty Four. I'm actually glad that she talked some damn sense into me.Those were all the cowardly ways out. I still won't change for. Except one girl.

The one girl who could keep me sane.

The one girl who helped me.

The light to my darkness

The one girl...who I loved
