Chapter 10

My hand pressed down onto the door handle, pushing to down.

As we entered the room the sight hit us like train.

Right infront of us was our baby brother. He was shirtless and had a black eye, several glass cuts on his body, and an arm that looked like it have been stabbed.

Tears flowed through my eyes "Sammy" I croaked. His usual playful bright brown eyes looked lidless and dreary.

I ran towards him and engulfed his lifeless body in a light hug. I didn't want to hurt him. "S-storm" he croaked. More tears flooded my eyes.

"Has h-he ever d-done this t-to
Y-y-you?" He whispered.

I nodded in response. Sam looked at they guys behind me as though silently asking them the same question. They nodded in response.

About 20 minutes later we were just sitting on Sam bed, babying him and cracking jokes like old times. Sam's head rest in my lap while his feet were on Calum's. Kian was sitting in a chair infront of us. Just siblings who were broken down in the inside but are strong enough to go on with life because they have each other.

The door Sam's room suddenly opens. Our eyes were fixed on 4/5 of Dauntless's leaders standing infront of us. My eyes widened slightly at the sight of Eric. He became leader already? That was fast.

I tried not to blush while I was thinking about the kiss. But my cheeks deceived me. Eric slightly smirked and casted a wink towards my way.

I looked down at Sam who was looking at me while wiggling his eyebrows. "Shutup" I muttered to Sam. At least the color was returning to his eyes.

"Hey guys" Max Greeted. He was really good friends with our mother before she left.

"Hey Maxie" Sam croaked. I looked at Mac who glared at Sam. He really hated that name.

"Maxie?" Veronica asked amused.

Max furiously glared at her, making her smirk daringly. But I knew she was cowering in fear on the inside.

"Your lucky you injured ,boy.-" Max started but was cut off by Lily.

"-or you'll be doomed!" She stated while wiggling her fingers.

We all started laughing, including the emotionless Eric who cracked his famous smirk.

Max rolled his eyes and looked back at the four of us. "Anyway, we have heard of Sam's incident. Do any of you know who could do this?"

Just he asked this question, I flash backed...

**FLASHBACK**
6 year old Stormy sat in the corner crying as her father was beating up her older brother.

The monster of a father turned around,slightly stumbling and asked,

"Is little baby crying?"

Stormy shook her head. She knew that showing weakness would be bad for her. Aron grabbed his beer and finished his 10th. He grabbed stormy by the hair and turned her around so her back was facing him. Everything happened so fast. He swung the beer bottle to her back and it's shards cut through her shirt.

After abusing his final child he grabbed all three and told them.

"If you tell anyone about this, I will kill you all"
**END OF FLASHBACK**

That's the reason I had the angel wings on my back. It signifies that no matter how much pain I would be in, or how alone I felt, those wings would always hold me.

Calum and Kian immediately stiffened. They must of remembered also.

"No we don't know" kian lied right through his teeth

"Yeah no clue" said Calum

"All we could hope for is that the person would not strike again" I said.

Doubtful

After a few questions here and there the leader left, except for Lily. She made our way towards us and said, "I saw your dad out there, he knows he did it. Does he know that he has done it to you guys
more than once??"

We shook our heads. He was always under the influence to remember anything. One kian was close to dying from his beatings, the only thing stopped him was when Calum stabbed him in the back and told the detectives that we were sleeping until we heard screaming and waited for the people to leave. I was surprised that the Candors couldn't tell that he was lying.

"Do you want me to stay with you guys?" She asked. We were the only family to her since she transferred out of her old faction. We were there for her, just like she did with us.

"No it's ok. You should get some sleep. We have to deal with him anyway" I told Lily while nodding my head towards the waiting room where our pathetic excuse of a father was sitting.

She nodded in an understanding way and gave us all hugs. As soon as she left Sam asked,

"Why did you guys lie?"

Me, kian and Calum looked at each other. Should we tell him? I raised my eyebrows towards Calum. Calum let out a long sigh and told him what happened when Aron threatened to kill us.

Sam was fuming by the end of it. "I'm gonna-" he muttered while attempting to stand up, but I didn't let him.

"Where was I when that happened?" He asked.

"You were cowering in a corner not knowing what was happening.

"But how come I didn't remember, I mean, it's not like you could forget something like that." He asks once again.

Me and Calum looked knowingly at Kian, "uhh, I kind of gave you memory serum."
Kian told him sheepishly.

"Oh" was all Sam said.

Soon Sam fell asleep. We looked at the beaten boy one last time and left him.

We made our way outside to find the waiting room empty. He just left?!? At this point I was pissed off. His own child was in the infirmary because of his own actions and he decided to leave without seeing how he was.

Calum's fist were clenched and Kian's face was all red. My eyes were in rage when I looked at the side mirror. "Let's not do it now, but He's going to pay" said kian. He said "he" in a disgusted tone.

Me and Calum smirk. We were both thinking of a prank. If we tell Uriah about it then he would join. Uriah dosent know about our fathers abasement but I know him enough that he'll be up for the prank. Maybe even include Zeke and Luke.

Me and Calum walked back to Luke's. A plan was forming on our minds.

As I crept into bed I thought about what tomorrow would come.

This would be fun
