Chapter 6

I made my way towards my room and shut the door. I slammed my back against the wall and slid down. Calm down storm. You don't need that kind of people in you life. I repeated those sentences over and over in my brain.

But it didn't work.

I kept remembering all the times me and Eric spent with each other, and our first kiss.

Tears threatened to spill out of my eyes but I wouldn't allow it. I took one long breath and stood up to get ready.

Let's show him what he is missing out on, storm, I thought to myself

Don't get me wrong! I'm not a slut. Honestly, unlike the other girls in dauntless *cough* Melissa *cough* I have a respect towards my body. Sure, I like to show off my tattoos sometimes but I like to keep one of them a mystery.

I went into my wardrobe to finds a nice outfit. I found a black long sleeved top that had the length of a crop top. It had a v-neck which showed partial of my tattoo on my back, it was angle wings that curved towards my shoulders and towards my collarbone so it looked like it was hugging me.

I also grabbed a short black skirt that went up to my knees put was light and bounced up and down when I walked. After putting on my converse I looked into the mirror.

My black hair was dead straight and my eyes were a boring brown color. At the ends of my hair, streaks of red were still painted on it. I need to dye my hair again, I thought.

I felt that pang in my chest again. Ever since Eric ignored my presence I've had that pain. I really wished I had someone to talk to. I never had that motherly figure in my life since I was 5. I never told Lily about knowing Eric, not even Calum knows the whole story, it was only Luke who knew the whole thing. Suddenly I hear Lily's voice in the hallway.

I creaked the door open to find her talking with Jc.

"Pssst, Lil" I whispered slightly, praying that she would hear me. She looked my way and told Jc she would be right back. She rushed towards me.

"What's wrong sweetie?" She asked after entering my room, immediately sensing me mood. I don't know what made me do it...but I ran into her arms and broke down.

She lead us to the bed and stroked my hair while I sobbed into her dress. After about 5 minutes I managed to calm my self down.

"Ok Hun, what happened?" Lily asked.

I began from the start about how I knew Eric since I was 10 and he tutored me and how he was my first kiss. Then I managed to tell her about falling for him and how he has changed since he transferred from dauntless. I didn't need to tell her about the Melissa thing because just like me, Lily has a certain hatred towards her and she knows about her bullying me.

After my rant. Lil started at me, thinking about what she would say.

"Every thing happens for a reason stormy. After all of his shit is over, I promise you, that everything will be better and your will have a happy life" she told me.

"Is that what the hippies back in Amity told you, Lil?" I asked her. Trying to keep the humor going. She chuckled the got up and clapped her hands and started to talk like a reaaaal girly girl,

"Guuurrrrrl! We need you to be looking fine for tonight. I promise you that Eric will be on his knees begging for you to come home with him!"

" Lily!" I screamed.

She wiped off my tears and applied some eyeliner and mascara. She did some final touches and I looked stunning.
