ROSÉ POV
I sighed as I fixed my bag on my shoulder and walked through this jam packed hallway. High school doesn't seem like what everyone says, it's not always rainbows and sunshine instead you find yourself getting blasted in the face with books from the senior jock and cheerleader who thinks they own high school.
In high school there's a social hiearchy, there's the jocks and cheerleaders the top tier and the pride of the school. Lisa and Jennie unnie are one of them, speaking of the devils I saw Lisa running towards me a smile plastered on her face with Jennie unnie behind her trying so hard to catch up with the younger one.
"Chaeng-ah! I missed you my little chipmunk!" Lisa said while clinging onto me and pinching my cheeks. "Ah! Lalisa!" I said while playfully pushing her away. "Ah— Lisa-ya! How... come... you're... so fast... when Rosie... is near!" Jennie unnie said in between breaths. I laughed at her state, messy hair and sweating like crazy.
"Where's Jisoo?" after Jennie unnie said her name the entrance door opened and reveal a stunning star female student. We smirked when everyone stopped what they're doing and starts paying attention to the girl walking down the hallway. The effect she had with every student here is kinda scary, she have everyone wrapped around her finger.
Oh! If you haven't noticed it already Jisoo unnie also is one of the top tier students here in this school, she's smart like a leader, beautiful, elegant and just fantastic (her own words by the way).
"Yahoo!" she went our way and greeted us with hugs, the duality of this girl I swear she can go from sexy scary to a adorable cute girl. "Um— guys, can you turn down your popularity? people are staring and it's kind of awkward." I asked them, whole my life I've been with them but I'm still not used to getting all the attention to us.
You see I am placed at the lowest part of the hiearchy. I'm that nerd that no one ever notice except when I'm with the three of them. I am a member of music club which is not that important in this school.
The bell rang meaning it's already time to get to class. Lisa and I have the same classes while the two unnies had the same classes. Lisa held my hand and led the way to the room. I'm feeling things again, my heart is beating abnormally. Only Lisa has this effect on me.
"Chaeyoung-ah! We're going to be late!" she then surprises me when she lift me up bridal style and ran towards the room. I blushed at the gesture and hid my face at the crook of her neck inhaling her sweet scent.
Once we reached the door she let me down gently and put her hand on my shoulder while her other hand held my cheeks then planted a sweet kiss on it. "Lalisa! I'm shy." I said while covering my face. As we enter the classroom all eyes are on us, many assumed that we're a couple. I mean who doesn't? We act like we're in a relationship but we both knew that we were just like twins, soulmates destined to be in each others side.
But lately the feelings I have towards the dark haired girl is more than platonic. I haven't figured out my sexuality yet. So I don't know if it's just a phase or maybe because Lisa became more clingy and affectionate to me since high school starts.
Because of this Lisa being all lovey dovey towards me causes issues that are circulating telling everyone that we are dating which led to students hating me. Many loved Lisa, I mean who doesn't? I love her... what? No! I meant that I loved her like a younger sister. Yes, that.
I sat quietly at the front while Lisa is sitting behind me she tapped my shoulders then I lean on my chair to hear what she was saying. "Are we going to your house after school?" her warm breath hits the side of my face and it gave me chills.
"If you want to," I turn to face her and my eyes went wide when I noticed that our faces are an inch or two away from each other. I saw her look at my lips then back at my eyes again. But the moment was cut off when the door opened revealing our teacher Mr. Yang. Again Lisa's lips found its way to my cheeks before she settled at her seat, the gesture made me flustered that I didn't realize that Mr. Yang is calling me.
"Miss Park, kindly pay attention. Can you please stand up? We'll have a sitting arrangement for this class." I got scared that I stood up quickly and went in front waiting for my name to be called and be seated.
I sighed when I was assigned to be seated at the middle of the room, I prefer to seat in front but no this teacher decided that I should be in the middle, maybe because I'm tall? Lisa's name is called after me and I saw her jumping up and down in excitement like a kid in kindergarten happy to just sit beside her bestfriend.
She pulled her chair closer to mine which made me panic I looked at Mr. Yang and he didn't care at all so I calmed down, lean on my chair and pulled out the books that are needed in this subject while Lisa draped her arm over my shoulder her attention is just focused on me while I'm having a hard time to focus on the teacher because Lisa here is rubbing my arm giving me this warm fuzzy feeling. It's going to be a long day.
Lunch time came and we went to the cafeteria pausing time to time when someone wants to talk to Lisa and I'm just standing at the side waiting for her as always. Lisa and Jennie unnie in my opinion is the most sweetest human beings to be in a cheer squad, most of the members are just rude.
"What took you so long?" Jisoo unnie asked us when we arrived at our usual table. "Lisa got so many fans and it's just the first day! Some middle schoolers even made lunch for her! Unbelievable." I groaned as I picked out my lunch from my bag.
"I know right? It's much worse when you're a senior trust me," Jennie unnie said while taking a bite on her sandwich.
My phone suddenly rang, I looked at the caller ID it says 'mom' I answered it and my mom's sweet voice filled my ears "Roseanne sweetie!" she said excitedly "Hello mom," I greeted then the girls followed saying "Hi mom," it's funny how we call each other's mothers 'mom'. That's how close we are.
"Honey, put it on loud speaker please," I did as I was told and put my phone in the middle of the table. "Girls, can you come by our house after school?" we all listened intently. "Mom, we already planned to!" Lisa answered my mother in which the two older girls agreed.
"Is there a celebration?" Lisa asked I just shrugged and went to continue eating while the two cheerleaders are talking about try outs and I looked over at Jisoo unnie she's busy eating her chicken.
After lunch the bell rang and we went our separate ways. I always link my arms to Lisa's while walking, it gave me comfort. "Chaeyoung-ah, don't you want to try cheerleading?" she asked out of nowhere "We could use someone like you in the squad besides, your dancing skills are just..." I looked at her and she's doing a chef's kiss with her hands.
"I'm already in the music club, I don't think I can manage to get into another club especially cheer squad. I love singing more than dancing Lisa." she frowned in disappointment, every year she tried to convince me to join the squad but I just can't seem to fit in.
The day went fast and now we're sitting at Jennie unnie's car on our way to my house. It was a 15 minute drive so we occupy ourselves with some music or more like me just singing at the top of my lungs while the others endure the pain.
When we arrived at my home we were met with suitcases and boxes laying around the floors. Hank greeted me excitedly wagging his tail, I picked him up and kissed the top of his head. Lisa did the same and I passed Hank to her to carry.
"Are you moving?" Jisoo unnie asked, I didn't know what to answer. I'm clueless as they are. I went to find my mom in the kitchen and saw her there cooking some salmon.
When she saw us she excitedly clapped her hands and went to hug us, she led us to the dining table and gesture us to sit. We were all looking at her and waiting for her to speak.
"Girls—" she started which caught our attention, she cleared her throat and said something that we wouldn't imagine.
"—what do you think about living together?"
