Chapter 25

"I love you." we both said at the same time our lips an inch from each other as I feel her breath against mine.

"Lisa—" I began, but she cut me off by placing her point finger over my lips to silence me. "Chaeyoung-ah," she began, and I listened intently.

"I'm not good with words," she frowned, but I only nodded to reassure her, "but know that I'm trying. Please be patient with me while I figure out what I'm doing. I'd like to be with you, but not as the person I don't recognize. I'd like to recall how we were when we first met; I'd like to know how we used to be. Because I know what we had was valuable and beautiful, and all I want to do now is remember." She rambled as she yanked her hair in annoyance.

I hold her hands in mine to stop her from yanking her hair, she looked at me, her eyes glistening with tears as I caress her cheeks.

"Lalisa, we don't have to rush into things. I've been loving you as long as I can remember and waiting for you is all I've done. I think I can manage to wait a little more longer." she got shocked at the sudden statement but then can't keep her eyes open from the sudden drowsiness.

I laughed and shook my head as I guide her head to the pillow so she can sleep, and immediately she started dozing off.

"I love you." I whispered as I felt my lips with my hands feeling giddy inside.

After what happened, this hospital couch doesn't seem to be uncomfortable any more as I let myself drift off to sleep with a content smile on my face.

"Be quiet, Jisoo. Chaeng is fast asleep." As the door opened, I heard voices. I know it's the unnies, but I'm too weary to open my eyes and just listen to them talk.

"Wait— Chaeng is sleeping?" I cringed a little as the oldest said something loudly. "I'm sure she's exhausted." I almost fell asleep again when the cheerleader sat gently near my head and began massaging it.

"Oh... hey, unnies.." I heard Lisa's hoarse voice called out to the two oldest which made them divert their attention to the patient.

"Wow, is she sleeping?" Lisa asked as I pretended to sleep while listening. "I believe so," Jisoo unnie replied sarcastically.

"Did Chaeyoung say anything to you earlier?" Jisoo unnie brought up the question to the patient, and I simply waited for the response.

"Mhm. We did something— "I opened my eyes and instantly stood up from my position before she repeated what we did earlier, making everyone gaze at me in surprise.

"What happened at school today?" I quickly changed the topic while I was stretching, easing my muscles from laying down this irritating couch.

"Should we tell her?" the oldest ask in concern, and it made me curious.

"Tell me what?" I looked back and forth to the two oldest as I'm waiting for one of them to answer.

"Rosie, there are rumors spreading around the school..." Jennie unnie started and is hesitant to continue.

"Did they already knew Lisa was awake?" I asked curiously but they shook their heads no then looked at each other.

"People think you and Jungkook are dating." 

"What?!" Lisa and I said at the same time. Shocked at the sudden statement. I know Jungkook is famous around school but they don't have to make rumors about him.

"How can they say that?" I asked in disbelief as I reach for my phone and contact Jungkook telling him about the rumor so that he won't be too shock.

"Apparently he didn't go to school today as well and someone said they both saw you here at the hospital." Jennie unnie said while she shook her head in disbelief.
