Chapter 27

I know her now, I know how we met! Despite my head throbbing I celebrated loudly here in the courtyard "I know her now!" I don't care  if people  looked at me funny but I'm  making progress and no one would be ruining that.

"Who dear?" Juno an old man that became a friend of mine in this hospital asked me while he's sitting next to me. "Chaeyoung, Sir." I said politely.

"The one you keep  telling me about?" I nodded and smiled widely still can't keep my happiness. "I can see with those eyes and smile that you really love her." she pointed at my face and I smiled sheepishly.

"I do, Sir. Ever since I've met her in the elevator." I said as I kept replaying the scene in my head over and over, not wanting to forget it. "That's good, dear. So, when can I meet this Chaeyoung?" he asked.

"She'll be here after school, Sir. I'll introduce her to you!" I said excitingly, he's such a good man. Someone I can always talk to here in the courtyard, I met him here while he was reading a book and after that I always saw him at the same spot reading the same book.

"Okay, I'll leave you to it." I nodded as he tapped my shoulders and went on to sit on his bench and opened the book that he was reading.

I relaxed and sat back as I close my eyes, I better take a rest as I feel the throbbing in my head.

"Mrs and Mister Park, my parents wanted to invite you for dinner!" they don't actually, it's just my impulsive self inviting them over. I just wanted to spend time with Roseanne! Finally having a same aged friend.

"We would love to, Lalisa. And just call us mom and dad." I jump in delight as I told them where our house is and what time they should go. I should probably go as well and let my parents aware on what I did.

"Roseanne, I gotta go okay? I'll see you later! Mom! Dad! Alice unnie! Enjoy the dessert!" I ran out of their house and went home.

"Ma! Daddy! The Park's going here for dinner!" I said out of breath.

"What?!" mom whipped her head so fast when she heard me, I saw them cooking at the kitchen probably for dinner.

"I told them you invited them." I smiled sweetly to avoid the lecture. "Pranpriya!" I cringed at the sudden use of my Thai name.

"Ma, they're good. And Roseanne was there!" the pretty girl. My mom just sighed and agreed eventually, daddy helping her cook more food since a family of four is joining us for dinner.

While I ran to my room and clean, I wanted to show Roseanne my room and impress her! I'm not really an organize person so everything that I think doesn't look nice in my room I put it under my bed, hopefully she won't notice.

Once I was done cleaning I laid on my bed exhausted, I didn't realize I was falling asleep..

"Lisa... Lisa... Lisa... Lalisa!"

"Huh?!" I open my eyes by the sudden shouting and looked up to see who was calling me. I immediately smiled when I saw that it was Chae.

"Why are you sleeping here, silly?" she asked sitting beside me. "It's peaceful out here.." I looked around and she did as well looking at patients and visitors just peacefully sleeping, reading or just having a break.

I held her hands and was about to tell her the flashback that I had but I gasped when I realized that I needed to introduce her to Juno.

"Come, Roseanne. I'll introduce you to Juno." her full name just slipped right out of my mouth and she was stunned for a moment cause I remember, I smirked at her reaction but decided to tell her all about it later.
