Chapter 3

"I like girls,"

I knew what she was about to say but the shocked that I have is still evident on my face. When did she realized that she like girls? "I mean guys are cute but have you looked at a girl?" she continued "Uh-yes? I'm a girl." I state the obvious. "Exactly! Look at you Rosie! I mean damn." she sighed and laid on her back. I blushed at what she said, does that mean she's into me? Keep dreaming.

"When did you realize that you were into girls?" I asked out of curiousity. "I don't. I just liked this someone..." ouch, so she liked someone? That hurts. "... for a long time now but I just figured it out lately." for a long time now? So, this someone had been present this whole time? I wonder who is it.

"Is it Jennie unnie?" I suddenly asked out of jealousy. "Why? Are you curious?" she teasingly asked me, I rolled my eyes at her and turned my back to her. I felt that she propped herself on her elbow and went behind me snaking her arms around my waist "Aw, is my baby chipmunk jealous?" again with the baby voice her lips are so close to mine "I'm nooot," I buried my face into the pillow so that she won't see my flustered face.

"Let's just sleep, Lisa." I sighed and settled ready to sleep. I heard an 'okay' from Lisa as she tightened her hold on me. I melted in her arms as I closed my eyes, I don't think I can sleep tonight knowing the girl I love the most likes someone else.

"Don't worry. I love you, Chaeyoung." she mumbled in her sleep "I love you too." and dozed off.

"Rosie! We're gonna be late!" Lisa pulled the covers making me miss the warmth. "No," I whined but Lisa was persistent. She got a hold on my ankle and tugging it so hard that it made fall down. "Lisa!" I complained while rubbing my butt. I saw Lisa all dressed up, ready to go to school. When did she get ready? She's so fast.

"I'm going home," I said and ran downstairs stopping only to greet Lisa's parents. Behind me is Lisa catching up to me while carrying her bag.

I left Lisa with my parents downstairs and I quickly got ready. I heard a car beeping outside meaning Jennie unnie is here to pick us up. Hand in hand we went outside and saw that Jisoo unnie is already sitting pretty in the passenger seat. I thought she'll be the last one to pick up? I guess, the cat eyed girl had her priorities.

"Ya! Jisoo unnie! I want to be in the passenger seat!" Lisa whined like a little kid while wearing a pout. I just shook my head while Jisoo unnie is laughing at her.

Upon arriving at school we went our separate ways. Lisa and Jennie unnie will be at tryouts so they are excused for the day, Jisoo unnie would be in a student council meeting and that leaves me alone the whole day. This is just great!

Suprisingly no one bothers me the whole first and second period but when lunch came, I went to the music room because I don't feel like socializing without the girls. Once I finished my lunch, I looked at the time and I still got twenty minutes left until next period.

So, I sat in front of the piano feeling the keys against my finger and starts playing. I love how my fingers danced through the keys creating a beautiful melody. I started humming to my made up song and next thing I know I'm playing River Flows in You.

"That was beautiful." I was shocked at the sudden intrusion that results to me banging the keys and creating an annoying sound. "Sorry," the man said while chuckling and scratching his neck. "Jungkook," he offers me his hand but I just looked at it when he realized that I'm not gonna shake his hand he put it back on his pocket.

"I know you." I just said while going back on playing. "I mean, who doesn't," I'm not interested on entertaining him. Jungkook, the captain of varsity basketball, very popular with the girls but not to me. I tried my hardest to avoid talking to him but he's just standing there looking at me playing the piano and that made me feel conscious.
