OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY I WENT TO THE MALL TODAY AND FORGOT TO POST HERE'S YOUR DINNER I'M SO SORRY FIR FORGETTING

~ Y/N's POV ~

It had been a week since we got to King Dream's kingdom, and we were already almost to King Phil's. Over my time there, me and Niki became closer friends while she wasn't busy helping medics, Sapnap and I tried figuring out a way we could communicate in the far distance, and we got to meet Ant's boyfriend. They were honestly such a cute couple, and I was quite glad I got to know them all better. It made me understand them and their morals better.

As we walked through the gates to Phil's kingdom, I noticed a lot of people...a lot. Someone must have alarmed the citizens that we were back, and they came flocking. Guards were there to clear a path for us and the now empty carts being driven behind us.

It was the loudest thing I had ever heard. Cheering, screaming, crying, people shouting "welcome home, your highness," everything. It was a little overwhelming, but Techno held my hand through it all, circling his thumb on my knuckles. No one really seemed to notice.

Time seemed to pass so quickly, next thing I knew we were at the castle, and Phil was giving Techno a hug. Tommy and Wilbur were also in the room, standing awkwardly to the side like Niki, Ranboo, and I. Eventually, Phil gave us all hugs in turn.

"Niki, thank you for teaching them how to deal with such a plague. Ranboo, thank you for going along with them. I figured you should see more of the world, and you also still got to help the three of them. And Y/N, thank you for keeping Techno from stabbing someone." He said, chuckling before going serious again.

"And I should thank you all for another reason. Throughout your journey, you've gotten closer to King Dream and his people I assume?" He was met with a nod from the four of us. "He contacted me not long after you left, saying we should form an alliance since we helped him so much. So thank you, all of you. No more war, no more death; all is peaceful...and I think it's time I passed the crown on."

Everyone gasped at his words except for Tommy and Wilbur who knew this would happen. Hell, even Techno looked surprised, and he was typically so good at hiding his emotions.

Phil turned to Techno, hugging him again. "I trust you with my kingdom. I'll still be around of course, but it's your turn to make decisions. I'm too old." He laughed at the last part, and Techno just stood in Phil's arms with wide eyes.

Tommy and Wilbur, with proud looks on their faces, approached the two and joined in the hug.

"...Wilbur's the oldest; shouldn't he have it?" He asked, subduing from the initial shock.

Before Phil could answer, Wilbur spoke for himself. "I don't want the throne. I'll help with the decision making, but it's too much pressure for me being labeled "King.""

When they broke from the hug, I smiled at Techno, who came walking to me.

"Hello, Ms. Y/N." His voice still makes my skin tingle.

"Hello, soon-to-be King Techno." I said, still smiling and standing on my toes to give his cheek a kiss. "Proud of you darling, you deserve this."

King Phil smiled in our direction, before turning to Niki and Ranboo. "You two are invited to dinner tonight. I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but don't be late." He said, chuckling.

Dinner that night was filled with drinking, smiles, and laughter, the sounds I had cherished and missed for so long. The few memories I had of my family were like this, and it was then I found my new family. My chosen family.

At some point, Techno tapped my shoulder and we slipped away. Neither of us felt like drinking, still tired from the long journey and days away from home. Home, this is my home.

We went into his bedroom, where he closed the door and started caressing my face, looking down at me with so much adoration I was sure I would suffocate. I looked up at him with the same look, before he started leaning down...

And we kissed. In books, the first kiss is described as fireworks...but it was more like a warm cottage. I would spend my entire life there if I could. It was soft, delicate, comforting in general.

When we pulled away, we both had huge smiles on our faces, and it was then I realized that I wanted to spend my entire life with him. He rested his forehead on mine, closing his eyes and whispering to me.

"You know I love you, right? You're too good to be true, I never want to leave you." His words let the butterflies in my stomach loose, so they fluttered throughout my entire body and filling me with warmth.

"I love you too, butthead...I love you so much." I replied, smiling from ear-to-ear.

He dragged me with him to the bed, and I just complied letting out little giggles. He laid down, dragging me with him, and hugging me like a teddy bear.

"You're really warm." I said, growing drowsy. It seemed he could tell how tired I was, because my statement was met with a kiss on the cheek, and a small "goodnight" left his lips.
