~Y/N's POV~

There's no way in hell I'm ready to see him again. Just...stand strong. Wait, I physically can't right now.

With that I swung my leg around. I hadn't been paying attention to our surroundings so I didn't really know where we were at this point.

"Tech!" I heard from behind us. He turned around to see his father, King Phil, look at us questioningly before approaching.

"Where you guys going?"

"Down to the prisons, don't even argue about it. I tried." Techno sighed.

Techno and Phil made quick conversation, before King Phil went off to do some ruling stuff...whatever kings do.

Techno continued on our route, but he knew what was on my mind. "Are you sure you're ready? You woke up barely an hour ago, and you haven't said a word on the way over."

"I'm fine, I can face him." I said, with full confidence. Of course this was, as Dream had put it, "a confident front." But I'd rather be confident than weak.

Finally, Techno stopped in front of a certain door. In my opinion, it looked the same as most of them, but something was definitely off about it. Maybe it was the doorbell that Techno was pressing...

"Ayyyyy, it's Techno and Y/N, she wants to talk to him." he said. The doors opened a second later, revealing a staircase down, and he started to descend.

He must have picked up on my rapidly increasing heartbeat; after all, I was about to meet the man who nearly killed me. "We can turn back if you want, it's not too late." I simply met his statement with a glare, and he decided it would be best not to argue with me.

When we got to the bottom of the stairs, we were met with another man fully clad in heavy armor.

"Welcome to the prison. I'm Sam, the warden. Is this your first time visiting the prison?"

I nodded, and Techno spoke up. "It's her first time, I've been here before."

Sam nodded, holding out a book for Techno to sign then handing it up to where I was. When I had finished signing it, I looked around. This was a pretty prison; it was clean, yet strangely dark. The walls and floor were made out of something black or some other dark color.

I slid off of Techno's back and hopped on my good leg a bit, before putting my right leg on the ground gently. It was fine at first, until I put about 10% body weight on my leg. I huffed, aggravated, and tried again with the same outcome.

Techno took my right arm, so I used him kind of as a crutch. He must have known that I wanted to walk up to him myself.

We carefully walked to the man in white's cell, Techno keeping pace with me. Anytime my leg threatened to collapse, he would be there to catch me.

When we finally got there, I took a deep breath and we walked up to his cell together.

"What's your name?"

He looked up at me, blinking slowly before smiling. "I remember you. Name's Sapnap."

I felt myself start to tremble, but I wouldn't give up just yet. "And what do you have to say for yourself?"

He looked me dead in the eyes before responding. And he did not give me what I wanted to hear. "It was fun. Watching you scream in pain, I mean. It's like when a child falls and scrapes their knees, and you can't help but laugh. What a stupid child. Despite what you said when we were...yknow...playing around, you're too weak to kill me." He laughs.

Techno did not seem to be pleased with Sapnap's wording and opened his mouth. However, I glared at him and told him not to say anything. Sapnap clearly enjoyed this.

"And the prince! Did you really mean all those kind things you said during the fight? I doubt it. But it's fine, because all she needs is someone to hide behind. Someone to do her bidding for her. Someone strong enough to kill. Be careful, she's trying to seduce you."

I could feel myself starting to tremble even more now, and Techno obviously felt it too. He grabbed my arm and led me away from there. Of course, we didn't miss Sapnap's lovely goodbye.

"Run away, cowards. Instead of facing the truth, you'll live in your little fantasy. How long will it go on?"
