Josh's POV

It was Gaege's birthday, and I wanted to surprise him. He was still fast asleep, only wearing his Juicy 1M hoodie and some boxers.

I opened the door to the bedroom. Gaege was asleep with his mouth slightly open, hand hanging off the side of the bed.

I couldn't help but smile. I didn't want to wake him yet, so since it was his birthday I would just let him sleep in a few more hours or so.

I had to call everyone over, Eddie and Narrator were already on a flight to get here in a hour.

I had to go to the grocery store, I was going to bake him cupcakes because a cake would go to waste. Plus, Gaege love's cupcakes.

After I got cake mix and decorations, I drove home. Eddie and Grant were about to get here so I had  to put up the decorations.

I bought some streamers an balloons. I also bought a lot of red solo cups.

I set out a bowl of ice, laying soda's, beers, and waters inside of it for drinking. I even put some juice boxes in there because I know that some of our friends have kids.

Now I had to get to baking, but I was interrupted by foot steps.

"Baby, don't come down yet!?" I yelled, trying not to sound suspicious.

"What, why.." He yawned, rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hands. He's just too adorable sometimes.

"It's your birthday, you should sleep in a little longer. You also should take a shower because Grant and Eddie are taking you shopping." I smiled at him.

He just nodded, walking back up the stairs slowly from how tired he was.

"I love you Joshie.." He whisper yelled from the stairs.

I smiled, going back to what I was doing.

I put the ice dish in the fridge until Gaege leaves, also leaving the streamers to put up later. I don't want to ruin this for him.

Once I was finished mixing the cake batter, I put it in a pan and slid it into the oven to bake for 30-45 minutes.

If Gaege asks what the smell is I guess I'll just tell him it's a surprise.

Gaege was finally awake, sitting on the couch with the same outfit but with black skinny jeans on.

Grant and Eddie finally arrived, knocking on the door twice, ushering me to open the door for them.

"Hey guys! I'm so glad to see you. Gaege is sitting on the couch. He's already ready for you guys to take him to the mall" I glared.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot. Come on Gaege!" Narrator smiled, dragging him out by his shoulders.

"Bye Josh-" He almost said before he was dragged into the backseat.

After they left I closed the door, letting out a sigh of relief.

I had to call all of our friends in Australia over, such as Lannan, Smashing, Tannar, Liv, (I know Gaege and Liv are dating, but not in this fanfic lmao) Mully, Fresh, and Gabby because she came with Eddie on the plane.

I also invited some of my other friends that know about me and Gaege over.

I finally put up the streamers, and put the bowl of drinks on the coffee table in the living room. I also put the balloons by the door for when he comes in.

I also put some party hats on the coat hanger by the door, so people can just grab one on the way in.

By the time I finished with the decorations, everyone was on their way to come hide and surprise Gaege.

About 15 people were here. It was ok though, because Gaege was never big on giant crowds.

Gaege's POV

At the mall I got some new shoes, some leggings, ribbed skinnies, some cool hoodies, and a big ass teddy because it was Narrator's treat.

We were on our way home, and I'm not sure why, but I felt kind of excited.

I feel like my birthday will be pretty chill this year. I expect the most exciting thing today will probably just be the mall.

At least I got my teddy though; he's so fuzzy.

Eddie unlocked the door with the spare key, and I turned the light on to be greeted with a lot of screams.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAEGE!!" They all screamed, running out of their hiding places to hug me to death.

"Omg, Josh!? You did this for me? I thought you were just going to send me to the m-mall, and that'd be i-it!? I let out tears of joy.

He hugged me, kissing my head gently. "Of course not, only the best for my baby boy."

I sniffled, hugging everyone in a big group hug.

"Best birthday ever."
