Gaege's POV

I was forced to go to my moms friends wedding. She said that she would bring her son ,Grant, but not like that makes it less boring though.

Me and Grant have talked a few times, and I have to admit he is pretty hot.

My mom knew I was gay ever since she saw me putting on makeup in the bathroom.

She supports me though, and so does my step dad

I opened my closet, grabbing the blue dress she said I had to wear today. The theme is blue and white.

I took off my oversized sweater and short shorts I wore to bed, slipping on the blue dress my mom put in a cardboard box.

I put on some white heel boots I wore last Christmas, fluffing my hair in the mirror.

I know I don't know Grant that well, but I sorta wanna look nice for him.

He always complimented my outfits, saying how pretty I would look in a dress. His luck though, I am going to be wearing a dress.

I smiled at myself in the mirror, sucking in air to look skinnier.

I hated my body, but whenever I was with Grant he made me feel like I was enough.

Well I don't know if enough is the word. He's probably just really nice and isn't even Gay. The thought makes my stomach turn.

My mom parked in the parking lot, flatting my dress down for me.

"Thanks mom, it means a lot to me that you let me wear a dress for the wedding.

She smiled, hugging me. "Don't worry Gaege, I would never judge you for how you dress. Ever."

We walked in, hand in hand, my mom letting go to sit down in one of the plastic chairs besides my dad who had gotten here early.

I looked around, spotting grant scrolling on his phone.

I fixed my hair, walking over to him.

"Hey Grant, it's been a while since I've seen you." I played with the hem of my blue dress, his eyes staring upon mine.

"Wow, you look beautiful Gaege. I told you you'd look pretty in a dress." I flushed red, nodding slightly.

He got up off of his seat, nearly towering over me. He was so tall.

I looked up, my eyes staring up towards his loving gaze.

He grabbed my hand with his bigger one, taking me inside the church building that was in front of the smallish yard the wedding was set in.

"Do you want a drink, they have Gatorades in the kitchen." He smiled.

"Uh, no thanks, I don't want to get you in trouble-"
