I will do two Christmas chapters, one today, and one on either the 24th or 25th.

Josh's POV

It is December 15th, which happens to be me and my boyfriend, Gaege's, anniversary. It's only right for me to do something special for him.

We've been dating for 3 years, and I've never been happier.

Of course he's still in bed though, quietly snoring.

No shirt, messy hair, and my grey sweatpants.

As much as I'd love to let him sleep in, I have stuff planned for us to do.

"Gaege, baby, wake up, please." I shook him lightly, smiling.

Sadly, to my avail, he was still sleeping like a little baby.

"My dear boyfriend, will you please wake up so I can give you kisses." I joked.

His eyes fluttered open tiredly, the hand he had under the blanket arising to rub his eyes.

It took him a moment to actually see me, but nonetheless he answered me in his groggy morning voice.

"Why did you wake me up..?"

"It's our anniversary, so get dressed." 

With a ruffle to his hair, I got up from leaning on the floor next to our bed.

Seeing my boyfriend half asleep, eyes opening and closing was adorable.

We were definitely running 5 minutes late, but I didn't want to make Gaege anxious.

"Bub, could you hurry a little..?"

I waited a moment for an answer. "Sorry-"

He came out of our bedroom in a a flower button up and jeans.

"You look handsome, like always." He flushed, pretending to be cool about it.

"Don't tell me something I already know Jos-"

His sentence was cut off with a kiss to his lips from me.

Said kiss turned a little heated, my hand running through his hair.

Pulling apart, just for him to pull me back in for another.

"Hey, hey, we don't have time for a make out session, we're going to be late. (They were about 10 minutes late now.)

"S-Sorry, I forgot we were going somewhere." He turned a bright red, scratching his neck.

Now My hand interlocked with his while we walked to my car.

The snowfall looked so pretty laying upon the roof of our house, not so pretty on my windshield though..

Gaege's POV

We were listening to 'Santa tell me' by Ariana Grande, me humming quietly.

Josh loved when I sang, but I'm always too shy to do it in person.

(Gaege actually is a shy singer, so this is accurate)

'Don't make me fall in love again, if he won't be here next year..'

You know, this song gives me a certain fuzziness that I love..

I don't know how to really explain it, but it just does.

Especially being with my love on our anniversary.

"This song makes me happy, and you make me happy. I love you so much."

Josh coo'd, parking in the parking lot of what seemed to be a very fancy resturant.

"I love you too bub, let's hurry inside before they cancel my reservation."

He wasn't wrong, we actually were about to lose our spot at one of the most fanciest places to eat in Melbourne.

Thankfully though, we got there in time, and were sat in a booth.

"So, what would you like to start with you two?" The nice waiter asked us, smiling.

Josh ordered sparkling cider, knowing I didn't drink wine.

Speaking of Josh, I can't believe he got us a reservation here.

The place is so fancy, and almost everyone here is either wearing a suit or a dress.

Someone across from us was wearing a pantsuit, and they had short, naturally white hair.

I don't want to assume they're female, but they seemed to not care about wearing anything too fancy.

"Thank you for this Josh, you could have just gotten me a heart-shaped box of chocolates and flowers." I chuckled.

"I would do anything for you baby, you're my boyfriend, and I love you."

A quick peck to the lips, and the waiter came back to ask us for our food orders.

A pretty basic steak and potatoes for me, and a fancy looking burger for Josh that I think costed about 60 dollars.

A must admit though, the steak was worth all of the money.

"Damn this steak is good.." I mumbled, taking another bite.

"Well don't eat too much, I don't want you to throw up before my surprise.

Choking on my food, I swallowed it quickly. "Wasn't this the surprise?"

He just chuckled, making me even more confused.  The money Josh has spent on me..

It must be more expensive than our house bill.

All that was on my mind during dessert was Josh's second surprise.

He hadn't said anything more, and the silence during the cheese cake was awkward.

Bending down to tie my shoes, and messing up many of times, I got back up with wide eyes.

Josh was on one knee, holding a blue velvet box.

"The 3 years that I spent getting to know you, date you, and be your boyfriend officially were the best in my lifetime. You're such a kind person, and your sense of humor always makes me crack even the slightest smile. You're my one and only love."

"So, Gaege Gibson, will you please do me the honor of being my husband?"

Tears of joy rolled down my cheeks, me leaning in to kiss Josh passionately on the lips.

"Yes, yes! I love you so much you idiot." I cried into him, fistfuls of his shirt in my hands.

Sniffling, and laughing through my tears he kissed my forehead.

Everyone clapped, some people rolling their eyes in disgust. I didn't care though.

I love Josh, and he loves me.
