Tw: Blood, cutting, and DRAMA.

Grants POV

I walked into the hospital with Eddie, checking in with the nurse.

Josh and Mully were getting some breakfast for us.

I opened the door, seeing Gaege's lifeless body laying on the hospital bed. He has a bunch of tubes and wires connected to him.

I hated to see him like this, and so did the rest of us. It broke us.

Gaege has been in a coma for a few months, but even before that he was acting strange.

The doctor said he had been cutting himself. His wrists, thighs, and arms are covered in scars and cuts that are still healing.

He had went into a coma from blood loss.

We had left him alone and he had cut too deep.

I walked into the room, sitting on the chair beside his bed. I always held his hand, because, the doctor said he can feel it.

Eddie put his head in his hands, his sniffles becoming coherent

Eddie hasn't cried since the day we first knew he slipped into his coma.

I lied his head on my chest, but something was off. The monitors started beeping and going off, Eddie starting to freak out.

The doctors then came running in, pushing us out quickly.

I held Eddie, but I still felt weird. That happened right when Eddie started crying.

"Eddie, what if he heard you? I know it sounds dumb, but it went off right when you started to cry into my chest.

He sniffled, looking up at me. "It's not dumb, it kind of makes sense.."

Gaege's POV

I could hear footsteps, hearing what sounded like Grant.

Eddie was with him, and I wish I could just wake up.

I felt a grip on my hand, just like all the other times it made me feel calm and like I wasn't in a coma right now..

I heard something though, like soft muffles.

I heard sniffling, knowing that it was Eddie crying.

Was he crying because of me? Why is he crying over me!? I wish I could just tell him I'm fine!

I started to get stressed, and I could hear my monitors beating. "No!" "No!" "NO!" I heard them being pushed out while screaming.

The doctors ripped open my shirt, taking out the defibrillator.

It hurt so bad, and I didn't know what to do-

Suddenly I felt a very loud bolt of electricity ringing through my head.

I bolted up, sweating, all the doctors eyes widening at me. I looked around, being able to see where I was finally.

"Oh my god.." One of the doctors said under their breath.

They were all smiling, and one of them pushed started flashing a flashlight in my eyes. The pupils of my green eyes went small.

"H-Hey, stop..that's really bright." I mumbled, sort of out of it.

She turned off the flashlight, putting her hands on my shoulders and trying to talk to me. All I could thing about was my Grant though.

"Can I see my friends..please?" I ran a hand through my hair.

She stopped talking and sighed.

All of them left accept the nice lady, and I could hear her talking to them outside the door. I could see through the little window though.

I saw Josh and Mully holding hands, tearing up.

I held onto the edge of the bed, my knuckles turning white.

"Please let them in...please?" She sighed once again before nodding.

She pushed me down onto the bed with a glare. She was kinda upset that I was sitting up in the bed like a wild monkey.

"I'll let them in after I fix you up Gaege, you're covered in sweat."

I nodded, her grabbing damp towel and rubbing it across my chest.

The towel was cold, but I didn't want to make her more upset then she already was.

After she was done she put the towel in the sink and took out the needles that were in my skin. I winced but didn't move.

"They can come in now, don't go crazy though. Your blood pressure can't get too high." She had a slight smile, but it was barely noticeable.

She opened the door and the first person I saw was Grant.

He hugged me immediately, not really caring that I was shirtless.

I cried into his chest, feeling him crying also. I was basically bawling though, so shocked that this moment was even real.

"Grant, I love you.." He turned red, kissing me for a short moment before the others came in.

We let go, and Eddie ran towards me with a big hold on me.

"You scared the shit out of us Gaege." He laughed through his tears, making me smile wide. I wiped away his tears, sniffling.

I let go of Eddie hugging Josh and Mully before seeing Grant come back over.

He wiped my tears, kissing my forehead.

He looked nervous but went through with what has had to say. "I..I love you too Gaege. You mean everything to me."

I hugged him again, kissing him in front of everyone.

They all awed and supported us. I could never imagine having better friends.
