Gaege's POV

My eye opened slightly, making me groan from the sunlight.

I turned over, about to go back to sleep before I noticed a note beside me.

'Happy Valentines Day baby, I went to the store. I'll be back in a bit, I love you!'

I smiled, getting out from under the covers. I had almost forgot it was Valentines Day to be completely honest.

I think I will do something sweet for Josh. He deserves it after how much he's done for me, I can really be a brat sometimes.

I was dressed now, my hair still wet from the shower.

Right now I was making some heart shaped cookies. and they smelled really good.

I had to wait though, I couldn't eat all of Josh's Valentines cookie dough, that would obviously ruin the surprise.

I stirred the batter quite quickly, some of it splattering onto the counter and stove.

It was pretty sticky, and my hands were getting all gross. They were covered in the mix.

Josh was suppose to be here soon, so I had to get these cookies in the oven and set up some décor to set the mood.

I had got some wine and Chinese food from our favorite Chinese restaurant, placing them in the living room.

Ding!

I heard the oven go off, making me smile. The cookies were finally done, and they smelled amazing.

I ran over to the oven now, taking them out to put on a big glass plate.

Hopefully this goes just as planned, and he loves what I've done for him. Hopefully.

Josh has been pretty stressed lately, so I'm sort of afraid that he'll be too stressed to enjoy a nice moment together..for once.

He's also been out for longer then I expected, and I was getting a little worried.

I decided to call him, but, I heard the doorbell ring suddenly.

"Gaege, come open the door, It's raining outside!" I was already over to him with the door wide open though.

I grabbed some of the groceries from the car, smiling big when I saw the look on his face.

"Baby, did you do all of this by yourself?"

"Yeah. I knew how stressed you've been lately Joshie-"

He hugged me tight, kissing my jaw sweetly. We had stayed hugging for a moment.

After a few minutes though, we got the groceries in the house and went into the living room.

"You're so amazing Gaege, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you as my amazing boyfriend." He gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

"I did this because I love you Josh, and I mean it!" I giggled.

He smiled, leaning in to give me a much longer and more real kiss.

I kissed back, his arms wrapping around my waist loosely as we shared our passion.

We broke the kiss though, eating our food before it gets too cold and dry to eat. I don't want this stuff to go to waste

"I also made the cookies. They are probably still hot, so be careful.." I warned, taking the napkin off the warm heart cookies.

"Don't worry, I'll just wait until I finish my noodles."

I nodded, smiling wide when I saw our cat come over to us.

He was wearing a little bell collar, trotting along.

"Theo, come over here." I coo' d, our small Black and white kitten rubbing against me.

We ended up finishing all of our Chinese food, finally getting to eat the cookies I had made for him.

"These are really good, and I think they are better warm."

I hugged him, grinning a wide grin.

"I love you Gaege, thank you for doing all this." He  squeezed me in his arms lovingly.

"I love you too Josh, and it was nothing. You deserved this."
