Christmas ✮EddiexJuicy✮

I know I didn't do a Christmas one on the 25th, so, I'm going to do one at least before New Years. Truly I am sorry, so I hope this makes up for it. ❤

Gaege's POV

I was wide awake, staring at Eddie's sleeping figure beside me. 

Tomorrow is Christmas, and I know I promised Eddie I would go to sleep, but I just can't.

Maybe I'll try though. I'll just ruin the mood if I'm falling asleep while standing up, or can barely keep my eyes open during presents.

Laying my head Eddie's chest, I listened to the soothing sound of his heart beating.

The thumping noise made me slightly sleepy, but my body was sort of rejecting it.

Why does my body hate me? I can never just go to sleep normally.

With that thought surfacing, my eyes finally begin to shut. Very slowly.

Not that I can complain, at least I'm getting some sleep.

I opened my eyes to Eddie shaking me, lightly.

"Mm.. what.." I mumbled out, Eddie just kissing my nose.

Blinking slowly, I scratched my head. I was so exhausted from yesterday.

"Bubba, it's Christmas." He lifted me out of bed, starting to pick me up by my bum gently.

Out of habit, I wrapped my legs around his waist, tucking my head into his neck.

"I know.. I was up all night until I convinced myself to go to sleep."

Rubbing my eyes, they were sort of blurry from just waking up. I was use to this though, my schedule being total shit.

Edd sat down on the couch, me in his lap.

His rubs to my back calmed me, and almost made me more tired.

I felt his hand slowly go up the back of my shirt, and rub my spin with his soft hand.

He traced the bone for a few minutes before speaking up. "Do you want to eat breakfast first?"

Looking up at him, with somewhat puffy eyes, I nodded. "Yes please.."

"You can nap on the couch, and I'll wake you up when the food is ready. Ok baby?"

Another nod later, I was laying on the couch, half asleep, watching TikTok.

Sadly, my sleepiness got to me, my hand dangling off the couch with my phone still in it.

I was never good at staying awake when I'm this tired. I honestly was tempted to look up a video on YouTube that would probably be titled-

'How to stay awake longer when you're falling asleep.'

Eddie's POV

Walking over to the couch, Gaege was asleep, his phone hanging from his hand.

The food was about done, but I didn't want to wake him so soon.

I can cook a few more thing to give him more time. It's Christmas after all.

...

I ended up making Scrambled eggs, bacon, and waffles with frosted trees on them.

Now I had to wake up the sleeping beauty on my couch.

Putting my hand on his thigh, I shook him a little. "Gaege.. breakfast is done.."
