The Fire of the Millennia part 2

Last time on In Love with a Killer:

He sprinkled the liquid all around the barrels and made a path that led to where the men were. He made sure to be silent as he did so, as the men could easily notice him. He was just a simple human after all, or was he?

Chapter Thirteen: The Fire of the Millennia part 2

'I hope you all burn in the Underworld as well,' Yami thought as he lit a match and threw it towards the unknowing men. The match didn't hit one but instead lit the ground beneath them, still making all of them catch fire. Yami then turned his back and leaped inhumanly high to the roof the first time. He ran a good few roofs away before looking back to admire the dancing flames.

He smirked and ran all the way back to his Little One's home. Soon after he came upon the familiar game shop and entered through the all too familiar window of his Little One's room. Once inside, he immediately heard the light sniffles and sobs from his Little One. He instantly ran to his side and took him in a hug. He felt the small teen jump at his sudden action, but calm down soon after.

"My dear Little One, what troubles you so?" Yami asked in a soothing voice. The little one sniffled and pulled back to look Yami in the eyes. He suddenly came up and hugged Yami tightly around the neck. Crying his heart out in Yami's neck, snuggling into Yami's warmth. The young teen stayed like that for a bit until he finally quieted down.

"I'm sorry for worrying you, Pharaoh..." Yugi trailed off as he drew imaginary and random shapes and lines on Yami's chest.

"Little One, please tell me what happened." Yami said as he pulled away from Yugi.

Yugi looked down, "You'll think it's stupid..." Yami placed two fingers underneath Yugi's chin and lifted up Yugi's head.

"Yugi please tell me what's wrong, I'm worried about you." Yami caressed Yugi's cheek lovingly.

"You really care?" Yugi asked him as he leaned into Yami's hand.

"Of course I do," Yami rubbed Yugi's cheek affectionately.

Yugi smiled and took a deep breath, "I had a nightmare where you left me..."

"Oh my sweet Little One, I'll never leave you." Yami kissed Yugi's other cheek and pressed his forehead against Yugi's, looking deep into his eyes.

Yugi smiled and blushed a deep crimson, "Thank you."

What will happen next? How much closer will Yugi and Yami get? Will Yami really stay with Yugi forever as he said?
