Chapter 13: Tempting

"Hey angel!" Jungkook greets Miah as she parks on her usual spot right beside him.

"Hey Kookie!" Miah cheerfully replies as she rolls down her windows.

Jungkook leans to give her a peck on the lips. "Hmmm... Cherry, my favorite. More please..." He gives Miah another kiss and this time he surely wiped off her lip balm.

"So where do you want to have these?" He lifts the iced coffee and croissants so she'd see.

"Uhmmm... Here is good." Miah unlocks the car and Jungkook sits on the passenger's side. He sets the cups on the holder and hands Miah a croissant.

Miah notices Jungkook's lips smeared with her own lip balm making her giggle.

"What?" He asked looking puzzled.

"You have my lip balm smeared right there." She points to his lower lip.

"Then help me take it off." Jungkook said.

Miah was about to brush it off with her thumb but Jungkook moved back before she could reach his lips. "Nuh-uh... Rule #15 Remove smeared lip balm with the other partner's lips."

Miah obliges and kisses Jungkook to get the smear off. "There! All gone."

"I'm loving these rules... Maybe we should add more?" He said with an evil smirk.

Miah kept herself from rolling her eyes or else he'll surely bring up "Rule #12 Rolling your eyes on your partner earns her/him the chance to make your eyes roll with something else." These are the times when you regret having told him about your so called rules.

"So what time do I pick you up tomorrow?" Jungkook asks before taking a bite on his croissant.

"Is 8 AM okay or too early?" Miah asked. They were going back to the orphanage this weekend and giving Yoongi a visit.

"Hmmm... you know Jin hyung is out of town. If you want you can stay over tonight then we'll leave early morning tomorrow." Jungkook suggests.

"Sounds better. I'll just go home after school and get my stuff." Miah felt a pit in her stomach realizing they'd be alone in his condo for a night. Her first sleepover at his place.

She's spent time alone with him but never overnight. Mostly during schooldays so they were just cuddling most of the time. Although, there were times of weakness when both their hormones kicked in and they almost did it.

They were watching a movie with Jungkook sitting on the couch while he envelopes Miah in a hug as she sits between his legs.

He suddenly hears her sniffle and Jungkook tightens his arms around her kissing her on the temple. "Hey angel, don't cry... they ended up together anyway, see?" Jungkook sways sideways to rock Miah in his embrace.

"But none of them deserved to go through all that just to be together. I mean this writer is cruel." Miah says whispering.

"Look, I promise our love story won't be like that... Okay? I will never allow anyone to hurt you... they will have to go through me first." Jungkook tilts Miah's head to meet his face and plants a kiss on her lips. Long... tender... full of love.
