Miah grunts under her breath and suddenly lost interest in eating lunch. Today of all days, Jungkook is out with his parents for an important family affair. She can't bother him with her problems especially when he's with family.
A week before, Miah walked in on Jin and Jungkook talking about it. Jin was allowed to bring a plus one but somehow Jungkook never bothered asking her to be his date.
Not that she's thrilled to come but it would've felt good if Jungkook asked her. "No, no, no don't think that way Miah! You're the one who's engaged and will soon leave him. How dare you get hurt over some nonsense dinner?" She scolds herself mentally.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a call from the only person he wants at a time like this, Jungkook.
