"They were together overnight in Busan. He also takes her to his condo everyday after school." The middle-aged man reported accurately to his employer.
"How long has it been like that?" She asks her trusted assistant, as she takes another sip of tea still worried about his son's escapades.
"Over 3 months now madam." He replies in a serious voice.
"He's as stubborn as his dad was." She shakes her head remembering her late husband.
Hana lost her husband to cancer leaving her buried in huge debt but she was left with a precious gift, their 1-year old son. She worked hard as a single parent wanting to provide him the best future she could give.
Hana never thought of finding another love and remarrying. Her 2nd husband stood as her son's father. Growing up, his son was loved and cared for by the kindest and most loving father figure. A man who loved her and his son unconditionally.
Hana's current husband never insisted on changing her son's name. Though he treated him like a real son and adopted him as the heir to his company, he still wanted the child to have a voice of his own. Her son can decide to retain his birth name or use his adapted name when he's old enough.
She was snapped right back to the present as the assistant clears his throat to get her attention. "Madam, I think you need to see these." Her assistant handed her an envelope apparently filled with pictures of his son and the girl he's been seeing.
She gave her assistant a questioning look. He knew from the start that she didn't want to look at the pictures and even asked to blur the girl's face not out of spite but to preserve her privacy.
The moment she laid eyes on the images, her head spun in confusion. A smile begins to form on her face as she flips through the pictures. Seeing how his son held this girl in his arms reminded her of how it is to fall in love.
Hana noticed how the girl in the image looked fondly at his son and how his son's eyes reflected his true feelings. She knew they weren't just ordinary teens fooling around, LOVE was written all over their faces. His son is in love and not just that, he's in love with a girl who reciprocates his feelings.
She looks at the lovely flowers in her garden seeing how they bloomed beautifully just in time for the perfect occasion. She sips her tea and thank the heavens for the good fortune her family has been receiving. Now she's even more excited to prepare for Jungkook's engagement party.

Miah stood in the VIP room wearing her engagement dress as she held back tears. Mrs. Smith was there to accompany her fitting appointment with a prestigious designer.
Her sleeveless gown was knee length and made of the finest fabric. It came with a white feathery vest but the entire outfit itself had a lilac hue. Miah actually loves it, it was totally her style. She would've chosen the same gown if only she was given the liberty to choose her own fiancé.
