Chapter 17: Angle

"I still can't believe this..." Miah whispers. She's in the balcony of her hotel room with Jungkook hugging her back, leaning his chin on her shoulder, cheeks touching each other.

"It's still unreal to me... but having you here... in my arms... make all these real." Jungkook replies and kisses Miah's cheek.

"How did you find out anyway?" Miah asks curiously.

"When you asked me to go to Shilla, I thought it's too much of a coincidence to have us both meet our finances in the same place."

"Why didn't you tell me about having a fiancé? Miah turns around to face Jungkook. Teasingly giving him a glare.

"Angel, I knew about it only tonight probably an hour ahead of you. Why? Would it make you jealous too?" He asked her giving a quick peck on her nose.

"Why? Were you jealous back then?" She answered with a question.

"I was... but I didn't let it get to me... Instead I bought this ring." Jungkook reaches for Miah's left hand and kisses near the ring.

"You've had this with you since when?" Miah asked looking suspiciously at her fiancé.

"Since we confessed loving each other." He replied with a wide grin. "Angel, you didn't answer my question... would you have been jealous back then, knowing I had a fiancé?" Tightening his grip around Miah's waist.

"I definitely would have been a jealous monster." Miah pouted her lips and gives out a cute growl.

"Impossible... you can never look like a hideous creature... you're too soft." Jungkook says touching Miah's cheek softly with his knuckles.

"Of course I can!" Miah makes a scary face that sent Jungkook to a stream of laughter.

"Angel, even if you try harder, you will never look like a monster... not with that cute, cute face..." Jungkook pinches Miah's nose and hugs her tight.

Miah nudges Jungkook gently away to let him look at her. "I can be a beast you know... you haven't seen me transform when I get really mad." Miah tries to give him her most evil look.

"Angel I'd love to see you go mad... mad under my touch... when we finally..." Jungkook leans in closer, his lips touching Miah's ear. "...make love... mad love."

Miah's entire body froze. How can this wonderful young man change from being a cute bunny to a naughty fox? She can't keep up with the duality but she loves it!

From the time they were engaged, Jungkook has been taking care of Miah. He picks her up in the morning to go to school and takes her home after classes.

It wasn't long after the engagement that the whole campus found out about them being together. The moment they saw the couple stepping out from the same vehicle in the morning and go home together after class, the news spread like wildfire.
