Izuku looked at the news, "ALL MIGHT IN APPREHENDS SLIME VILLAIN IN MUSUTAFU JAPAN!" Izuku sighed. Now don't get him wrong he had nothing against hero's or all might, in fact just a few days earlier and he would have been shaking at idea of all might being in the prefecture. But something was made painfully clear to him while talking with Shigaraki about each of their philosophies. They agreed on most things, such as the unfair treatment of the quirkless and quirk discrimination. They both also talked about corrupted hero society is. And as much as he hated to admit it his childhood idol was a huge contributor to the corruption. Even so, that didn't stop Izuku from wanting to be a hero. His goal in life remained the same. He wanted to help people. And he planned to help end the corruption from the inside. Unluckily for him his chances of becoming a hero were slim thanks to his quirklessness. So he decided to be realistic (definitely doesn't have anything to do with not wanting to run into a certain blonde in the hero course) and apply for the Management and Supports departments. He had 10 months to prepare and hope one of the courses accepts him.

He studied day after day, learning about different hero agencies, hero funding, approaches to marketing hero, hero costume design, stock market, capitalism, and of course he practiced building support items using scrap metal from Takoba Municipal Beach. It had been a while since he and Shigaraki had seen each other in person but they continued texting each other.

Izuku: ugh fine ur no fun. i have something i wanna tell you when can i come over :(

Izuku: okay see you around 2pm then
Shigaraki: sounds good. don't die
Izuku: no promises
Izuku planned to tell Shigaraki sooner but knowing how the blue haired man felt about UA and Heros in general made him a bit hesitant. But with the exam only 2 weeks away he didn't want to hide anything from his friend.

Izukus alarm went off. He rolled out of bed and made his way to his closet to get dressed and go to the bar. They didn't live too far from each other but it was still at least a train stop away. He grabbed a black turtle neck, some jeans, and his classic red high tops. He puts on his clothes on and looks in the mirror to make sure he's ready to go. He does a double take realizing that carrying scrap metal from the beach to his house every day had made him bulk up a bit more than he expected. Shigaraki would definitely notice. He felt a bit uncomfortable seeing how tight his clothes were now. Sighing and grabbing his bag he makes his way to the train.

He arrives at the bar. It's 2:06. Without knocking he decides to just open the door. As expected Shigaraki was at the bar in his usual black outfit with Kurogiri bartending. Shigaraki looked towards him a slightly shocked expression crept onto the mans face seeing the young boy bulked up. "hey crusty." Izuku greeted him. Shigaraki frowned at the nickname only making Izukus smirk bigger. "you little shit. you sure grew since last time
I saw you" Shigaraki said returning the greeting in his own way. Izuku sat down at the bar receiving a greeting and a cup of coffee from Kurogiri. Izuku stared at the cup
for a moment unsure of where the coffee came from judging by the fact this was indeed a bar and not a café, regardless he greeted Kurogiri and took a sip from the cup. Izuku was getting nervous. He needs to tell his friend his future plans but was scared of the reaction he may receive. So, between sips he spit out a muffled "I'm*sip*applying*sip*for UA." "WHAT" the older boy spit out the drink he was sipping. "Not the hero course. The management and support courses." Izuku responded, trying to make it seem as nonchalant as possible. This seemed to calm Shigaraki down. "Let me explain-" Izuku started.

After about a 30-minute explanation Shigaraki was nodding along to what Izuku said. "So let me get this straight. You're going to enter UA to attempt and fix the corruption from the inside?" Izuku nodded. "And you aren't going for the hero course because you're quirkless and think that you would have more control over the heros if you were in business or support, for example being able to manage other hero's agencies?" Izuku nodded again. "...It's not a bad idea kid." Izuku smiled widely at the pale man. "Of course it isn't I came up with it!" Shigaraki ruffled Izukus hair "You're a little shit"
And with that all of Izukus nerves melted.
