It was the second day of the U.A school year, when Izuku walked into class feeling protected. The classroom was missing a student. Must be the bitch who stabbed him. He felt a breath he didn't know he was holding leave his body. U.A. was different, U.A. cared, Nezu and Eraserhead cared. The first thing to greet him was Ectoplasm, who rushed up to him apologizing profusely for not being able to protect him from getting injured. A chill ran up Izuku's spine. (calm yourself izuku. He didn't mean to make you feel weak) A forced polite smile crept onto Izukus face as he spoke, "don't worry about it Mr. ectoplasm, I understand you can't be aware of what's happening in your own classroom all the time." As soon as the words left his mouth Izuku prayed that the condescending tone that crept in his words wasn't too obvious. Ectoplasm nodded, apologizing again before turning to start the class.

His classes passed quickly, leaving him time to prepare for the support class. He made his way to the changing rooms to get into something more suitable for creating support gear. Slipping his uniform off, he pulled a black long sleeve compression top over his head, putting on some green cargo pants, which he made sure to clip his utility belt onto.

Walking into the Development studio he was immediately pounced on by Hatsume, throwing him off balance and landing him, and her, on the floor. "HIYA GOLDEN STUDENT!" Hatsume exclaimed, making Izuku wince at the sudden noise. Processing the situation, he turned red. He realized what position he was in and how it would look to anyone else. Quickly he helped Hatsume up and brushed himself off. Unknown to him, Hatsume was looking him up and down, analyzing, memorizing his features, thinking of babies that he could use. "Holy shit Golden! You have muscles!! You could really help me when building huge babies!" Hatsume fussed over Izuku using a shorter version of the nickname she came up with for the boy. Izuku was flabbergasted. He looked down to see that Hatsume was in fact right. The compression shirt showed off a lot of the muscle he built up while rummaging for scrap metal and parts at the abandoned beach. Izuku looked back up at Hatsume taking in more of her features. Damn this chick looked strong. "No way!!" Izuku stated, waving his hands in-front of himself. "You look really strong, you have a lot of muscle, did you get strong just from making... uhh... babies? Your quirk also seems to help you in this, it's in your eyes right? I saw them change-" Izuku starting going on a train of thought that even Hatsume could barley keep up with. "Woah woah woah, slow down Golden boy. Yes, my quirk is Zoom, pretty self-explanatory. Also, thanks for the compliments" Hatsume finishes with a wink. Izuku felt himself heat up a bit, but he was too distracted by the new quirk he just heard to care. "Oh wow that sounds like a really helpful quirk for this field, you could see really up close in the mechanics going into the gear- "hey!" Hatsume cut in. "You're right! That's what I use my quirk for while here. How about you Golden? What's your quirk? Analysis?" Izuku shrunk. Well, it had to be mentioned at some point. "..i'm actually quirkless."
silence.
"WHAT! YOU JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE THE BEST SCORES EVER RECORDED AND YOU DIDNT USE A QUIRK????" Hatsume exclaimed.

"I mean I didn't cheat..." Izuku murmured.

Hatsume waved her hands around, shaking her head. "Oh No no no! I'm not implying anything like that... I'm just impressed!"

Izuku paused. "You really don't care...?"

Hatsume tilted her head like a confused puppy. "Why would I care? You don't need a quirk to help me build my babies, right? So why would I care?"

Relief flooded over Izuku. It was refreshing. Finally someone who didn't care.

"So... can we start brainstorming?!?" Hatsume said, jumping back and forth. Izuku nodded and allowed Hatsume to pull him into the room. He didn't feel pitied or judged or hunted. He felt accepted.

Time rolled by and it became time for Izuku's makeup class with Mr. Aizawa.

"Welcome problem child." Mr. Aizawa greeted. Izuku simply nodded and sat down. He didn't think that he could talk without completely fanboying yet. "Since your support course class was switched with your 'Hero Law' course I'll be teaching you/overseeing what you missed." Aizawa sat on the ground in his sleeping bag and looked at the boy, "understood?" Izuku nodded furiously. "Okay well since it's still only the second day of school your teacher wanted to get everyone's starting opinion on how Evil people and Good people can be classified." He points towards the desk with his chin. "On the desk you will find paper and a prompt. You have til the end of this period to write what you must." Izuku jolted up and grabbed the paper and pencil. Mr Aizawa looked up, seeing the boy was back in his chair, he set an alarm. "Begin."

Name: Midoriya Izuku.                       Date:20xx

Prompt: "How can you tell if something is good or evil?"

Response: How can you tell the difference between good and evil? Can you tell from their quirk? Can you tell from the way they speak? Can you tell from their looks? No.

Evil is easier to spot than good because evil is everywhere. Humans are evil. Humans manipulate and bargain just for their own self preservation. And while there is nothing necessarily wrong about that, it does make them evil. From little white lies to intense manipulation, humans are not even be able to recognize their own evil.

Good is harder to find. Good comes from self-sacrifice and depends on ideals. Depending on a person's view of society their classification of good and evil will vary. For example, let's say theirs a child who puts himself in between bullies and victims as an act of self-sacrifice. This sounds like a noble deed, but now let's say the child has a quirk viewed as villainous. Immediately people will assume the child was not attempting to help, instead people will view this child's noble deed, as an act of violence, 'getting involved in a fight'.

This leads to the next theory. If quirks don't make people good or evil, and even the people who are good, aren't seen as good. Then why are hero's considered 'good'?

"Times up!" A half asleep Aizawa calls out. "Shit, I wasn't done. I didn't even get to read it over." Izuku groans. Aizawa gestures for the kid to bring over his paper, not wanting to get up from his sleeping bag. Izuku hurries over and hands him the paper nervously. "I won't bite you kid." Mr Aizawa says, studying the boys composure. "Ah. Of course not Mr. Aizawa! I'm just a fan of yours so I'm nervou-". Izuku cut himself off. Mr Aizawa raised his eyebrow in disbelief. He was an underground hero. There was barely any information about it online, so how could he have fans. "You? A fan of me?" Aizawa continued to look at the boy skeptically as he answered. "uh. Yes I try to learn as much as I can about you and other underground hero's that fight without relying on their quirk." Aizawa was confused. Nezu had decided to keep the kids quirk secret but Aizawa assumed it had something to do with knowledge or analysis. The question was why was said kid interested in studying how to fight without a quirk? Last time Aizawa checked this kid wasn't interested in the Hero Course- his train of thought was broken by said boy, "Anyways... I'll see you tomorrow Mr Aizawa. Thank you again!" And with that he was gone.

Izuku: SHIGGY I DONT THINK NEZU TOLD ERASERHEAD IM QUIRKLESS

Shigaraki: I'm not sure why that rat principal would do that, but why does it matter? eraserhead isn't training your 'quirk' right?

Izuku: oh. i guess your right. but still Nezu almost gave me a heart attach. Eraserhead looked so confused when i mentioned studying heroes who fought quirkless

Shigaraki: stop stressing broccoli bitch.
Shigaraki: anyways can we reschedule our little meet up? me and kurogiri have something coming up so i won't be able to see you for like 2-3 days

Izuku: oh okay, just text me if you need anything!

Something was about to happen. As if he were a prophet, he could feel something bad was coming. Izuku didn't like the feeling.
