Katsuki stared at the green-eyed boy in front of him. He was so fucking scared, not of Katsuki, but for Katsuki. The blonde knew he could've died, I mean he had just woken up from a short coma. Katsuki was relieved. It wasn't until then that he realized how scared of death he truly was. Obviously he would risk his life to save someone, but that was different. Here he sat in a hospital bed after almost dying from something that could've been prevented; and here in front of him, ranting about All Night's irresponsibility, was a boy who threw himself at death willingly. Without thinking about the consequences, Katsuki interrupted the boy's rant, grabbing his green curly locks, Katsuki shoved Izuku's face into his chest. "I heard you, All Might fucking sucks. I'm okay now though, so just. Stay like this, okay nerd? I'll tell you all about the villains quirks. Just. Don't go anywhere."

Izuku's face turns red, but he nods. Katsuki let out a little 'tch' of approval before starting. "They called themselves the League of Villains, pretty cliche if you ask me but to each their own. They attacked with the goal to kill All might, who was supposed to be there, but for some reason didn't show up." The sound of Izuku's teeth clenching could be heard. "They warped in using one of the villain's quirks. Except for about 3 heavy hitters, the whole group was just a huge collection of low-level thugs. The villain with the warp quirk scattered me and all the extras in my class around the facility. I was with shitty hair, his quirk isn't half bad, but he's as dumb as a rock so it doesn't really mean much." Izuku let out a laugh at Katsuki's half hearted insults. "Yo-you have to wo-work on your socia-socializing Kacchan! You won't make any frie-friends if you keep referring to your classmates as extras." Izuku said, his stutter reappearing thanks to the position he was in. "As if you're any better, last time I checked you got a gold medal in being socially awkward." Katsuki said, ignoring the heat rising in his face. "Hey! I'll have you know that I made two friends! Although I guess the way I met each of them wasn't very social, unless you count spilling coffee on yourself or getting stabbed social." Izuku murmured. "YOU GOT STABBED!" Katsuki shouted, receiving a glare from a nurse walking by. "When the fuck did this happen?" Katsuki said, his voice now much lower. "I'll tell you later! But I want to hear more about the villains that attacked your class." Katsuki groaned but continued.

"Me and shitty hair felt with the thugs and made our way back to where the main villains were. They had this huge monster thing called a Nomu, it was on top of a passed out Mr. Aizawa when I saw it. I obviously tried to get it away from him since he can't very well fight when he's unconscious. The rest is a little blurry, I remember that All might showed up, he placed me down somewhere, and he started fighting the Nomu thing. I guess that when he shot it through the ceiling and I ended up here." Izuku was practically shaking in rage as the blonde boy finished. All might not only didn't think of the damage he was causing, but he also didn't think about the fact he was putting Katsuki right near the line of fire. "Do you remember any names? Nobody was close enough to the main fight to know except you and Mr. Aizawa." Izuku asked, Katsuki shook his head. Izuku sighed. The only person who might know is Mr. Aizawa. He wasn't in a coma, so maybe Izuku could visit him.

Izuku stayed there, laying his head on Katsuki for what seemed like forever, until the blonde fell asleep. Izuku carefully got up as to not disturb the boy, they could catch up later. They needed the time. Years were wasted between them, and although a dark part of Izuku's mind still told him 'no one cares for you' 'you deserve to die' 'why kacchan here instead of you' 'there should be new bandages on you' He shoved down those thoughts and focused on the fact that Katsuki had changed, he had been vulnerable. So with that Izuku scribbled down a reassuring note so that Katsuki wouldn't freak out that he was gone and left the room.

He made his way down the hall to room 215. Mr. Aizawa's room. The door was agape, inside was Mr. Aizawa, who looked a little too similar to a mummy, and... PRESENT MIC? He knocked gently on the door. "Mr. Aizawa?" He said quietly as to not disturb other patients. Unfortunately, this only caused Present Mic to get spooked and let out a yelp. Luckily for everyone he managed not to activate his quirk. Aizawa groaned at the noise. "Problem child. What are you doing here?" Aizawa said, addressing Izuku. "Ah, sorry! I was here visiting Kacchan, he woke up recently! I came to visit you since I was already here, sorry for disturbing you and you husband-" Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. Izuku fucked up. He glanced up at the two adults. Present mic's jaw was dropped, while Aizawa was rubbing... the bridge of his nose? It's hard to tell with the bandages. "I'm so sorry! I know it's not public knowledge, I just figured it out... since you guys have matching chains, and I've caught glimpses of the matching rings hanging from them. The fact you guys went to UA at the same time was helpful to know as well... Sorry I ramble a lot, I promise not to tell anyone.." Izuku fiddles with his sleeve, pulling it down further to cover him more. Present Mic breaks the silence by laughing. "I totally understand why you're Shou's problem child now! You're definitely smart! No wonder Nezu likes you. None of the students know we are married but you figured it out, so there's no use denying it." He said. Izuku lets out a sigh or relief, turning his attention to Aizawa. "Uh... Mr. Aizawa? Since I'm already here, could I ask you something?" Izuku asks carefully, receiving a nod from Aizawa, he continued. "Did you manage to catch anything about the leader of the group that attacked? Like a name." Izuku was treading a thin line, he wasn't sure how much Mr. Aizawa would tell him, if anything at all. "I learned a few things that may narrow the search." Aizawa began. "The leader of the group has a touch-based disintegration quirk. The name his subordinates referred to him as Shigaraki." Izuku's blood ran cold. He nodded, showing to the adults in the room that he understood the information, before exchanging goodbyes with them and exiting the hospital.

Izuku busts in through the door of the bar without knocking. He makes eye contact with Shigaraki, who is sitting at the bar. Shigaraki knew Izuku knew. "Let's talk." Izuku demanded, multiple eyes falling on him. The company in the room understood they weren't needed here, so they left, leaving Shigaraki and Izuku in a state off.

Shigaraki was never good with being confronted. So even when he knew it was coming, he was scared. He cared about Izuku more than he's cared about anyone else, but he owed his sensei his life. Izuku sat right next to Shigaraki, avoiding eye contact with his friend in favor of staring forwards. "So, when were you going to tell me that you attacked UA?" Izuku said, not even giving Shigaraki the time to answer before continuing. "I don't care if you are doing anything illegal, it's not my business, and I owe it to you to not ask. But you involved children, and we both know the hero commission as no opposition to using child soldiers." Shigaraki shuddered, he knew every word of what Izuku said was true. "I didn't want to involve the kids... or eraserhead for that matter, but my sensei said this was our best chance at taking down All might." The older boy said quietly. "Shiggy, I don't know who your sensei is... but if his plans can't avoid the involvement of children, then maybe reconsider who you work with." Izuku sighed, turning towards his friend, watery viridian eyes met red, a sad smile crawled onto the young boy's face. "I'm not going to lie, I think you're being groomed by whoever your 'sensei' is, but I won't interfere yet. I care about you, and even if I don't know them as well, I care about the league, so I won't hold this against you... but consider what I said, because if you endanger the other people I care about again, I won't forgive you." Izuku broke eye contact, turning towards the door. "I'll be busy for a while. Nezu and I have a deal. It involves the Hero classes. So if your group attacks again... I can assure you I will be involved." And with that the boy left the bar, leaving Shigaraki frozen.

The TV flicked on. "Tomura." A gruff voice spoke, setting the hair on the pale man's neck straight up. "Do not listen to that foolish child. If you entertain any ideas of betraying me I will know, and that boy will not be safe." And with that the TV flickered off. Leaving Shigaraki on the bar stool, silent tears rolling down his face.
