"I feel stupid," I am wearing a gold flapper dress, and long black sleeve gloves.

Damon grins at me, "one more thing," he throw a black feather boa over my neck, "perfect."

"Do I need to go?" I ask.

"Yes," He says, before heading to the front door. We get into the car and he pulls out of the driveway heading towards the school. Damon checks his phone again, it's the fifth time in the last hour.

"Everything okay?" I question.

"Something is off with Alaric, he isn't taking his herbs anymore so I think he might be our little Gilbert friend."

"Meaning?" I know Alaric has been blacking out and trying to kill the founding family.

"Meaning we have a trained vampire hunter out on the loose and I'm not sure where he is or what he is planning to do." Damon pulls into the school.

He opens up the door and I step out, the party is in full swing in the gym hall with lots of students dancing to the music. I see Bonnie wearing a black beaded dress dancing with a guy I've never seen. Caroline is talking to Matt who is restocking the drinks table with ice. Damon is scanning the crowd looking for Stefan.

My eyes land on a familiar face, Tyler, he's wearing a black suit, red and blue tie and looks so handsome. I haven't seen him since the night Stefan almost drove me off the bridge. He said he was leaving town, to try to break the sire bond between him and Klaus.

I excuse myself from Damon's search party. Walking up to Tyler, "Tyler, you're back?"

Tyler eyes land on me, "Allison,"

"If Klaus sees you..." I trail off.

"I can pretend I'm sired if I have to." Tyler reassured me, "But I'm not gonna hide anymore, not when you're still here and he is trying to weaseling his way back into your heart."

I blush, "Tyler, you do not need to be jealous of Klaus."

"I am jealous, but I'm also competitive. So hang on, I'm about to sweep you off your feet." Tyler sweeps me off my feet and spins me around.

A small giggle release my mouth as Tyler spins me around the dance floor, so smooth and elegant.

"Does this make up for me ruining homecoming?" Tyler whispers in my ear as a slow dance begins to play.

I nod, pulling back a little to look into his eyes, "definitely, I almost didn't come to this dance. Not with me being on bed rest for so long but I'm glad Damon convinced me to get out of the house."

Tyler's face scrunches in confusion, "bed rest?"

I wave my hand, "It was nothing, just Esther trying to use me to kill Klaus. A typical day in my life.." my voice quivers a little at the end of that sentence, my life is definitely not normal.

His jaw ticks, as he registered what I said, "I'm tired of you being put in danger because of him."

Before I can responded Tyler tenses up and my gaze follows his. Klaus walks into the gym wearing a tan suit, his grin falls when his eyes land on us. Slow dancing in the middle of the gym.

"Where've you been mate?" Klaus asks Tyler avoiding my gaze.

Tyler glares at him, "I just got back in town."

"That's funny, I don't recall giving you permission to leave in the first place. You don't mind if I cut in, do you?"

I speak up, "Yes! Actually we do." I'm not going to let him walk in here and push Tyler around.
