"Let me get this straight," I turn to look at my brothers as they pack their hiking gear into their bags, "Jeremy finished the hunters map, Bonnie trapped Klaus in Elena's living room with the power of the new moon, the two of you going to Nova Scotia to find a cure?"
"Don't forget the blonde original is invite now," Damon zips his bag, "since Stefan is taking a page from my book and having revenge sex."
I throw my hands up in disgust, "Please do not remind me about Rebekah and Stefan."
Stefan glares at both of us, "are you two done?"
"Maybe.." Damon smirks.
"Allison, you need to stay here and make sure Klaus doesn't escape." Stefan ignores Damon and walks towards me.
"Why me?" I croak out, "you do realize he wants to kill me as bad as he wants to kill you."
"He's all talk," Damon slings his bag over his shoulder, "you're the love of his life, plus if he kills you he kills himself remember?"
I swallow, feeling uneasy about being on babysitting duty. "Can't I just come with you?"
"No." They say in unison.
Stefan sighs, "we don't know how dangerous this Silas guy is and we can't protect you and.."
"and Elena, got it." I nod. Turning on my heels I head to the front door. "I'll make sure Klaus doesn't kill anyone until the cure is found."

Tyler, Matt and I step onto the porch, before opening the door I turn to Tyler. "Are you sure you're okay with this?""Zero doubt in my mind." Tyler avoids my gaze as he opens the door to Elena's house.
Klaus is standing in the living room, looking at Kol's burnt corpse. He looks upset and guilt flows through me.
Tyler smirks, "Morning, sunshine. You look pathetic."
"Only until Bonnie's spell locking me in here wears off. Then I'll look different." Klaus eyes land on me and his face reaction turns into disgust. Angrier, perhaps. Or I won't look like anything because I'll have gouged your eyeballs from their sockets."
Tyler ignore him, "My friends will be back with the cure by then. So, I could shove it down your throat and make you mortal."
"I'm an Original. What makes you think my entire vampire bloodline won't be cured along with me? I.e., you." Klaus says.
Tyler crossed his arms "You know what I think? I think that's impossible. I think the moment you stop being a vampire, our whole blood connection to you is broken, and your sire-line ceases to exist. So, whatever happens to you, happens only to you, which means I can kill your ass and no one else has to die. Although I am still debating just how to do it."
Klaus vamps towards Tyler, but can't get him due to the barrier. "I recommend drowning. There's nothing quite like the feeling of someone fighting for something as basic as human breath. And let me tell you, your mother was a fighter."
Tyler glares at Klaus, looks pleased with his taunting. I grab Tyler's hand and drag him into the kitchen.
"You can't let him get to you," Matt says behind us.
"He killed my mother." Tyler bites back.
"Matt's right," I sigh, "Klaus is trying to taunt you. He wants a reaction out of you and you can't give it to him."
I walk to the coffee maker and start to brew a fresh pot. "You need to keep your cool," I change the filter, "because we don't know how long this barrier will last."
