Klaus is in the living room trying to decipher the hunters tattoo. Tyler and Caroline are on the phone with Bonnie and I'm leaning against the window. Thinking about my conversation with Matt last night. The termination in his eyes to save us from this constant battle.
"There is only one.." I hear Klaus say.
"What?" I turn towards him,
But he shakes his head with a wicked grin. "nothing. Caroline call my sister." He demands.
"Hey, it's Caroline. We have the translation of the tattoo. We're emailing you pictures of the map and instructions right now." Caroline says to Rebekah over the phone.
I'm staring at Klaus as uneasiness sits in my stomach.
"Actually, it was me." Klaus says over the phone.
Rebekah's voice comes through the phone, "Nik, you helped?"
Klaus smiles, "You sound so surprised, little sister."
I can hear the waves on the beach, "Shouldn't I be? I mean, you don't want me to be human. You don't want any of us to be human. Why would you help us find the cure?" Rebekah asks.
"Maybe I finally realized the longer I stand in the way of what you want, the longer you'll continue to hate me. Perhaps I want my sister to finally know happiness." Klaus replies.
"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me a hundred times—"
Klaus cuts her off, "No more fooling. No more games. I hope you get to live, and die, as you wish," Klaus pauses, "There is one more thing, Rebekah."
Caroline, Tyler and I look up; Klaus speaks quickly, "There is only one dose of the cure. You need to find it first and take it. It's the only way you'll" Tyler rushes to end the call.
"There's only one?" I exclaim, remember him saying that moments before he demanded we called Rebekah.
Tyler walks out onto the front porch, I follow behind him. He seems really stressed out. "Every time I think I have him, that son of a bitch gets the upper hand."
"We won't let him hurt you. Stefan and Elena will bring back the cure." I promise.
"If they get to it first! And if they don't, Klaus kills me." Tyler is starting to get hysterical, "I need to get out of town to figure out how I'm gonna stay alive—"
"Wait, hang on, okay?" I rush to his side, "Gosh! Before you get all doomsday, just-- At least let me try and talk to him."
"He's got nothing to lose, Ally. His brother's dead, his hybrids are gone. All he wants right now is blood, starting with mine." Tyler says.
"I'm not gonna say goodbye to you again, do you understand me? Let me fix this." I squeeze his had. Tyler nods at me as I turn to make a deal with the devil.

Klaus is sitting in an armchair in the Gilberts' living room, as I open the front door and walk in. I'm not angry at Klaus for hiding this information but I'm more sad because I know how much this cure meant to so many people and now only one person will get it.
"You can't kill Tyler." I say softly.
Klaus firms, "Not only can I, I have to. I have a reputation to uphold. Moreover, I want to."
"I'm not asking you to forgive him. All I'm asking is that you let him live, somewhere far from here." I plead.
Klaus shakes his head, "So he gets to live a happy life after he turned all my hybrids against me,after he tried to kill me, after he made it his life's mission to find the cure so he could use it against me—"
