Chapter 3

Aki POV

"Ahh! Finally, classes are over." I exclaimed relief.

"Waouh! You sure hate history classes."said Haruna who was in the same class as me.

"Will you hang out with us, Aki?" asked Touko.

"Sure." I quickly text Edgar and went with them.

Edgar POV

'You can go home first. I'm going out with some friends.' is what the message said.

I went home and Kira told me that the new resident came.

"He is in the room to your right." she said. "You can go and greet him."

"Yes. Oh, Aki is out with some friends."

"Ok."

I went upstairs and knocked at his door. He opened and I greeted him.

"Hello. I'm Edgar Valtinas. Nice to meet you."I said.

"I'm Kazuya Ichinose. Nice to meet you."he replied coldly and went pass me. "Is Aki here?"

"No. She went out with some friends." I said astonished.

"Huh? So she has friends."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, you see. when she was little, she didn't had any friend."

"And why made you think that?" I said starting to lose my temper.

"I had known her when we were in elementary school."

"Judging from what you are saying, you were harming her."

"You can put it like this if you want."

I grabbed him by his shirt and warned him."If you do anything which will hurt her, you will regret it." I release him and went to my room, slamming the door shut.

Kazuya POV

"Interesting." I smirked and went downstairs."I'm going for some fresh air." I said as I passed near the kitchen.

"Ok but be careful on your way." said Mrs Kira.

"Yes." I went to the park and sat on the swing. I looked at the starry sky and began to recall the past when I was in elementary school.

(flashback)

"Kazuya" called a girl.

'Her again! How annoying!' I thought. I got up and went out hearing her calling me. I speed up and went to hide behind the bushes.

"Kazuya!Where are you, Kazuya?" she continued.

'Won't you leave me alone?' I thought. Not seeing me, she went away. I was about to leave when a figure lying on the grass caught my attention. It was a girl sleeping soundly, a book in her hands. 'She's cute.' I was about to brush her hair away from her face when she suddenly opened her eyes.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I ... I'm Kazuya." I replied.

"Kazuya? Can you help me please! I lost my contact lenses and I forgot to bring my glasses." she said. I could tell she couldn't see me clearly as she wasn't directly looking at me.

"Okay." We searched for it but in vain. "It's getting late." I finally said after we had searched for a long time now. "I'll bring you back."

"Ok." she said. I lead her to the class and help her to her place. All the eyes were on us.

"Who's that girl? I haven't seen her before."

"Why is Kazuya with her?"

"What's their relationship?"

I looked at the girl and saw that she was blushing. I glared at the others and they immediately looked away.

"Thank you. I can managed on my own now." she said still looking at the floor.

"It's nothing." I said and went to my place. After school I was about to asked her her name but she was already gone. The next day, she didn't come and that was the day that Aki confessed to me.

(flashback ends)

*sign*"If only I got to see her again." I told myself and got up from the swing and went back.
