Chapter 25

Aki POV

The shopping mall was crowded. We managed to get through it to the coffee shop where we had to meet with Jousuke. "Jousuke!!" waved Touko to a boy sitting on a bench. He looked up at us and grinned.

"Hey there." he smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you all." He was really cheerful. He was wearing a shirt with two of the button undone, revealing his chest. His skin was tanned.

Touko introduced us and we went shopping. We were going from one shop to another. "It's been two hours that we are here and you haven't even buy anything in one of these shops." said Shiro irritated as we left the accessory shop. "You go crazy all over something but in the end you don't buy it."

"Hahaha!!" we all laughed.

"We are girls and if you don't like it, you can wait for us at the restaurant." said Rika.

"Fine." And with that, he went away.

"Wait! I'm coming with you." I shouted after him.

"No! You're coming with us." yelled Rika.

"Sorry but you know that I don't really like shopping." I shouted back and grabbed Shiro with me. When we were out of sight, I let go of his arm. "Thank you VERY much."I told him. He looked at me astonished.

"Why are you thanking me?"

"I thought that I was going to be drained out of my energy from this shopping until you spoke up."

"Just for that?!"

"Of course. Well, whatever, what are we going to do now?"

"How about going at the corner game?"

"Sounds good." And with that, we headed to the Space Game. It was pretty well packed but we managed to squeeze through. "By what game do we start?" I asked him. He looked around for a while when he spotted, which seems like his favourite one.

"How about this one?" he pointed to the pair of machines. We walked to it and grabbed a gun each. "Have you ever played this?"

"Not really."

"Why not really?" he asked. "It's whether yes or no."

"Well, then. No I never played this game."

"Then it won't be difficult to beat you then?"

"Hey!!! You're assuming that I'm that bad?"

"I didn't said that. You said it yourself." he laughed.

"You..."

"I...what?"

"Nothing. Let's start." We pushed the button start and here we go. I can't say that I never played at this game nor had I played it. When I was little, for Christmas, all my family were gathered at my cousins house. He had a room for games and while they were playing, I was watching them. My parents had forbidden me to play at these 'useless things' like they called them. But since we were just us, cousins, with no parents with us, I played with them. Unfortunately, just when I was enjoying myself, they came in. Shocked, they got the device from my hands, shoved it away and scolded me. They even yelled at my cousins.

"What the!!!" shouted Shiro. "How did you do this?!"

"Beginners luck?"

"Luck?! Then your luck must be really good. You even got the highest score!!" he said pointing at the screen. I laughed at his reaction. "I'm not accepting defeat especially by a girl."

"Bring it on."
