Kazuya POV

When I arrived at school, Edgar was speaking with Rika and Touko.

"No, we didn't see her." I heard Rika said. I walk pass them and went to my place.

'Recalling what had happened yesterday, I supposed that's why she left early this morning.' I thought.'Well she didn't have to shout at me like that! It's her fault after all! '.

"...zuya, Kazuya! Hey! Do you hear me?" I snapped out of my thoughts when Rika called me. "What were you thinking of? It's been a while I was calling you."

"Sorry. What were you saying?"

"I was asking if you saw Aki."

"No, I didn't."

"I wonder where she went." she signed. "Hey! Where are you going? Classes will soon start." she called out when I got up.

"Don't worry, I'll be back before the teacher arrives." I was thinking of taking a small walk when I saw Edgar. "You're still searching for her as I see."

"What if I am?" he said.

"Nothing, it's just as if you will go crazy if she is not around."

"What if I do? It's normal to worry about your friends. You won't understand anyway. You don't have anyone who is important to you."

"Who said that I hadn't?"

"You always seems to be alone since you first came to this school."

"It's only my second day here. How do you want me to make friends this rapidly?"

"Oh, but as I had seen, most of the girls in your class was staring at you, their eyes like heart shape."

"They are just a nuisance. And I don't need friends."

"You don't need friends huh?" he said.

'It's not that I don't need friends, it's just that if I make friends, they will just worry about me all the time.' I thought.

"Anyway, it's your choice and I can't do anything about it." he concluded.

Annoyed by what he said, I decided to return to the class. Aki was here, talking with Rika and Touko. When she saw me, she immediately averted her gaze. Rika and Touko looked at each other.

Aki POV

When I had arrived at school, I went to checked on the football club premises. It was an old one. The furniture were covered with dust, the walls were in a desperate state and the windows were broken. It was filled with a lot of boxes as after the club had closed down, it has become a storage room. As I were the present manager of the club, I decided to clean it. I thought that it would take me some time to do it but Mamoru who was also checking on it, offered his help.

We cleaned it from top to bottom and didn't realised that the bell was about to rang.

"See you after school!" he waved at me.

"See you."

I went to class and saw Rika with a worried expression on her face.

"What happened to you?" I asked as I was walking towards her.

"You are asking me what happened? It's you!" she said.

"Me??" I asked surprised.

"Yes, YOU!! Where were you all this time? Edgar even came to look for you." said Touko. "And why are you covered with dust?"

"Sorry. I wanted to check on the football club premises. As it was dusty, I cleaned it."

"All by yourself?!"

"Mamoru helped me."

"You could have asked us also!"

"Sorry. You haven't arrived at school yet at that time and I didn't thought about it."

"Whatever. You are always like that." she signed. "When you are absorbed in something, you will forget everything that is around you."

"It's that leading the life of Aki Kino." I said and we all laughed. My gaze suddenly shifted to the door as Kazuya was walking in and I immediately averted it.

'Well, see who's there. It was the last person whom I wanted to see.' I said to myself. Touko and Rika looked at each other.
