Chapter 20

Kazuya POV

That night, I couldn't get to sleep but somehow, I managed to. I didn't thought that Aki was the girl I was searching for so long. This day couldn't have ended better.

Next morning

*Beep Beep*

I switched off the alarm clock and got up. I went to the bathroom took a shower and got changed into my uniform. I went downstairs where a delicious smell greeted me. "Good morning." I greeted Kira.

"Oh, good morning Kazuya. You are up early today." she said, frying the eggs.

"Early?!" I asked a bit surprised.

"It's only half past six and at that time you were still asleep." she laughed.

"Half past six?! This early?!" I exclaimed shocked. I glanced at the clock, it was really showing half past six. "Erm...waking up earlier for a change?" I said mostly asking.

"Haha. Ok, but since you are up, could you go and buy bread?"

"Okay."

Aki POV

I got up and found myself on my bed. I remembered being on the train with Kazuya then I must have fell asleep. Then how did I ended in my bed?! Did he carry me here?! I blushed at the thought and buried my face in the pillow. So embarrassing!!

*knock knock*

I went to open and saw Edgar. "Erm...good morning."

"Good morning." he greeted. "Still not awake? It's already seven o'clock. If you don't hurry, you'll be late. Even Kazuya had already gone to school."

"He's already gone?" I said almost shouting which surprised Edgar. "Sorry." I grabbed my uniform and went in the bathroom. I took a quick shower, ate breakfast then headed to school.

"Aki. Edgar." called Rika. "Good morning."

"Good morning." we both said.

"Ready for the History exam?" she said looking at me.

"Of course." I said which surprised them.

"Did you hear that Rika? Or am I the only one?" said Edgar confused.

"You also heard it?" exclaimed Rika. "Are you sick or anything Aki? You who hate History?!"

"Erm...well, I revised really hard yesterday and...I'm sure I'll be able to do it." I blushed as the thought of yesterday popped in my head again.

"You sure you alright?" asked Edgar anxiously. "Your face is bright red." I put my hands on my cheeks and ran away. Yeah, I know it was stupid.

"Aki, wait!!" I heard them yelled after me. I ignored them and went to class. Kazuya was here, chatting with Shiro and Ichirota.

"Hey! Aki! You're a bit late today." said Shiro.

"Hello." greeted Ichirota.

"Good morning." I smiled at them."I forgot to set my alarm yesterday.That's why."

"Haha. Such a thing could even happen to you?" laughed Shiro.

"Well, anyone can forget." I blushed. I looked over at Kazuya and saw him smirking.

"What had you been doing to forget to do so." he asked.

'It's your fault for not waking me up yesterday!!' "I was a bit tired and had fell asleep as soon as I...returned home." I said, not wanting to let them know what happened.

"What did you do to get this tired?" he asked again.

'What are you...you know perfectly why!!!' I tried to keep calm. "I...oh, that remind me." I said changing the subject. "You three had join the football club, hadn't you?"

"How did you know?" asked Shiro.

"I'm in the student council. You forgot?"

"Ah that's right! " he laughed.

*Driiiiiiiiiiing*

The bell rang and we went to our seats. We were in the exams period and this week is the last one. Today we have History and for the first time, I know most of the answers. 'I forgot to thank him for yesterday.' I thought. 'I'll do it after this.'

One week later...

Finally, exams are over. We are going to know the results today.

"Rika! Touko!" I shouted. "Have you already went to see you points?"

"No, we were just going to do so." said Touko.

"You don't have to go and see. You will surely be the first like always." said Rika.

"You mean second." I corrected. "After Edgar."

"Oh you're right! I forgot him!" she said shockingly.

"Speaking of me girls?" a voice said from behind.

"Edgar!! What a surprised." jumped Rika. "What are you talking about? Why would we be speaking of you?"

"Hey! No need to react like I will eat you." he said his hands on his chest like he was hurt.

"Ahahahahaha!!" laughed Touko. "You must...ahaha...have seen your face...haha...sorry but it was...just too funny..." Edgar and I joined her remembering Rika's surprised face. Her face became really red.

As expected, Edgar is in first place and Aki second. "I didn't know that Kazuya was so good." said Touko surprised.

"He's full of mysteries." said Rika. "I didn't even saw him this morning."

"He won't come."

"Huh?! Why is he sick?"

"Don't know. He said he had to go somewhere."

"Didn't you notice that he always disappear to I don't know where?"

"Now that you mention it, he will always went out."

"Anyway, let's not talk about it. It must be personal business." said Touko changing the subject. "How about passing the holidays at my villa?"

"Oh I forgot that you own one." said Rika. "Of course we'll go and you could also see Jousuke." she winked which make Touko blushed. Jousuke was Touko's boyfriend, well, his friend.
