Aki POV

'Where the hell did Rika go?' She asked me to take her shift and disappeared to who knows where. It was starting to get really busy here.

"Aki!" someone suddenly called me. I turned around to see Edgar at the entrance. "Are you busy?" he asked.

"Are you seriously asking me this?" I said, gesturing to the crowded room.

"Oh! Erm...I'll come again late then." he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Wait!" I stopped him. "Have you seen Rika?"

"I think I saw her on th..."

"Sooorrryyyy!!" he was cut off by Rika herself. "I went to cool off a bit on the roof. Oh! Hi, Edgar. Haven't notice you."

"Rika!"

"What?"

"You made me take your shift just so you can cool off??!!" I clenched my fists.

"Heyy! Calm down okay?" she said raising her hands. "I'm here now, aren't I?"

"Sorry. I'm just a bit tired."

"You can take a break then." she said, pushing me to the exit. "Your turn to cool off."

"Thanks." She returned inside and that's when I found Edgar was still beside me.

"Well, you aren't busy now." he trailed off. "Want to sit somewhere less crowded?"

"Sure." We exited the corridor to the stairs leading to the rooftop. I opened the door and the blazing sun blinded me. We sat at the shade of the wall, opposite to where the sun was shining. I leaned my back on the wall and closed my eyes, enjoying the light breeze.

Edgar sat to my right. He remained silent, as if not wanting to disturb me. With my eyes still closed, I leaned my head on his shoulder and let the sleep took over me.

"...ki. Aki. Wake up." a voice said. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Edgar. I looked around and noticed that the sun was already setting.

"What time is it?" I rubbed my eyes.

"Nearly six thirty." he said.

"Six thirty?!" I pulled out my phone and saw that I had a hundredth missed call and messages. All coming from Rika. I got up. "Sorry I have to go." And with that, I rushed towards the door.

"Wait!" I heard him called. He followed me to my classroom, where a fuming Rika was glaring at me. I gulped.

"Where.the.hell.were.you?" she said, putting emphasis on each word. "I was looking for you, I don't know, for the rest of the afternoon."

"S..sorr-y. I fell asleep." I stammered.

She sighed. "At least, send me a message or call next time."

"Sorry."

"Anyway, stop with the apology. Go and get change." she said. "The bonfire is about to start."

"Okay." I went to change but couldn't find my clothes. 'I can't go dressed like this' I thought. While I was searching for it, I didn't notice someone had entered the room, until the door slammed shut. I jumped and turned around.

"What the f*ck!? Open the door!" He said, slamming on the door. I heard someone speaking on the opposite side but could not clearly hear it. "Open the damn door or else..." I came closer.

"Kazuya?" He turned to face me and immediately stopped banging on the door. "Wh..." I didn't finished my sentence when he suddenly hug me. I stiffened.
